me and a group of friends booked a table for this place. we did not specify inside or outside, just a table for 10. we sat down, ordered drinks and food, about half way through my vodka and lemonade i noticed something floating in my drink, i got it out and put it next to my glass, then it started moving! there was a maggot in my drink, we let the staff know and the man lifted it up and said ‘ew’ i said i didn’t want another one and that we wanted to pay the bill and leave as this was disgusting, the staff said it must of come from the lemons? the staff said we could not leave yet as we had not made the minimum spend that must be €300, this was not clear when booking, we said we do not want to order anything else as we do not want maggots in our drinks. the staff were very unreasonable and said we have to pay at least €300 before going because of the table we had been put at. very careless, slow with serving us, taking our plates away and even getting the bill. disappointed and disgusted that we still had to pay €300 even after having a maggot in my drink. my friend has also left a review and this has been responded to and completely disregarded the fact that they served me a maggot. my friend also had a fly in his drink, we saw it was white at the bottom of his martini but the staff took this away and said it was a coffee bean but didn’t show us this, laughed at us like we were joking with them but this was just gross, we have also felt quite unwell for the...

The place looks really nice and has great reviews, so I wanted to check it out myself and spend the day there on the beach, enjoying lunch, cocktails, and a nice environment. A few days earlier, I visited and encountered a not-so-friendly staff member who briefly told me they were full, so I left.A few days later, I arrived earlier and asked a staff member inside about getting a beach bed. He told me to go ahead and choose any available spot, then turned away. I selected a bed, but soon another staff member approached. Initially, I thought he was coming to take my order, but I was wrong. He was very rude and almost yelling, insisting that I didn't have the right to sit anywhere without speaking to him first.I apologized several times and explained that I had already asked his colleague, who told me to choose a spot. The staff member accused me of lying, claiming it wasn't true, and told me I had to leave the bed because others were waiting for it. He then said he would give me another one but never followed through. Feeling unwelcome, I left and went to another beach bar I had visited earlier. It was beautiful, with nice staff, great food, and cocktails. It's really unfortunate that such a lovely place has such unprofessional staff. If reservations are required or the place is full, there are better ways to inform clients who are there to spend...

A Paradise for the Senses in Málaga La Palapa in Málaga is a must-visit for anyone seeking a truly exquisite dining experience. From the moment you arrive, you're captivated by the stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, creating a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere.

But the true magic lies in the food and service. The menu features a delicious array of fresh, seasonal dishes that showcase the best of Spanish cuisine. Every bite was a delight, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs. The service was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making us feel welcome and valued throughout our entire visit.

Here's what truly impressed us:

Breathtaking views: The beachfront location offers panoramic vistas of the sparkling sea, creating a truly unforgettable setting. Exceptional service: The attentive and friendly staff added to the overall enjoyment of our dining experience. Mouthwatering food: The fresh, high-quality ingredients and expert preparation resulted in dishes that were both delicious and visually stunning. Overall, La Palapa is a gem in Málaga. This restaurant offers a stunning beachfront setting with a vibrant atmosphere. My meal began with a shared decadent appetizer of artichoke and foie gras, a luxurious combination that tantalized the taste buds. A glass of salmorejo was a refreshing and flavourful palate cleanser. The main course, a paella of mixed seafood, was visually impressive and packed with fresh (and frozen) ingredients. However, the dish was unfortunately quite salty, overpowering the delicate flavours of the seafood. To finish, I enjoyed a refreshing fruit mocktail and a glass of white sangria. Both were perfectly balanced and a delightful way to end the meal. To complete, a Torrijas Malagueñas (Málaga style French toast) made our day! Overall, La Palapa Beach Jazba offers a unique and enjoyable dining experience. While the paella could have been less salty, the other dishes were delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic. I would recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or a memorable beachside meal.
