The Fitzgerald Burger Company — Restaurant in Torrent

I‘ve been loving going here once in a while. Even though it can take quite long for them to prepare the food and we‘ve gotten the completely wrong order at pick up once before (which we only realized at home), they used to have a nice little vegetarian range (amazing nuggies), so it was a good treat. But unfortunately they recently got rid of pretty much everything veggie, except for the vegan cheese burger. And I get that veggie stuff doesn’t sell too well here in Spain, so it’s fair enough that they downsized the options. BUT when I went last time (not knowing they changed the menu) and tried to figure out what to get (since I’m not a fan of the vegan cheese burger) I asked the guy working if they could just put the vegan patty on a different burger, something that in my opinion should be an option anyways if you have a vegan patty available. He found it quite amusing and said that that of course wasn’t possible. It’s always a shame when these places have the capacity to make a customer happy, but are utterly inflexible. You have a vegan patty, so just let people put on the other burger options, not that difficult… We ended up getting two vegan cheese burgers with fries to take away and at home realized that they didn’t give us any fries (we paid for them). Excelente cena en el Fitz, esta hamburguesería TOP en Torrente. Fuimos un Miércoles a cenar a las 22h y fue muy buen día y hora pues no había casi nadie y pudimos cenar de forma tranquila mientras escuchábamos la música de fondo, fue muy agradable.

Al entrar nos atendió Raúl, un chico muy majo y profesional, que estuvo muy atento y nos explicó cualquier tipo de duda o detalle que tuviéramos sobre la carta, menú o ingredientes durante toda la cena. Nos gustó muchísimo el mimo que le tiene a la marca pues además del maravilloso trato, hubo un momento que hicimos varias fotos al local (pues está muy bien decorado) y retiró un papel del suelo para que no saliera en la foto, ese detalle no lo tiene cualquier empleado.

🍔 La "EMILY DRY AGED BURGER" para mí es la mejor hamburguesa que tienen. La carne (Buey 100%) madurada proveniente del Valle del Eslavaca ESLA de 32 días de maduración es muy importante, pues va a ser el detalle que define y cataloga a una hamburguesa de mediocre o superior. Aunque es verdad que no noté esa maduración como en otras hamburgueserías (excelente para aquellas personas que no les gusta tanto el sabor a carne) la hamburguesa estuvo espectacularmente buena. Con mucho sabor, notando al final el sabor tan bueno de la carne (ya que la salsa emmy tapa al inicio éste), un pan excelente, seguramente TOP 5 de España y con un acompañamiento de patatas que no se quedan atrás, nos encantó, repetiremos.

🍔 La "SALVATION BURGER" lógicamente se quedaba por detrás de la Dry Aged, tanto en el sabor como con la salsa como con la carne. Al ser también más finita (2x115GR) paraba algo más seca (que no es que estuviera seca, si no que no estaba tan jugosa como una entera), también culpa que se pidiera al punto. Mi compañera se la acabó entera y la disfrutó muchísimo de todas formas, recomendable si no te gustan para nada las madruadas.

🧆 Los "CRISPY CHICKEN NUGGETS" para el precio que tienen nos parecieron simplemente impresionantes. Muchísimo sabor, nada aceitosos, con este toque ligero picante que puede que fuera por las "Piquitas" de pimienta que tenían, excelentes. Con la salsa Emmy (que pedí de extra) entraban como si fuera agua. Para nosotros, el mejor entrante que tienen.

🍟 Los "FINGERS DE QUESO" fue el producto que menos nos gustó de la noche, porque aunque estaban bien hechos no nos resultó tan impresionante como los nuggets o las patatas que acompañaban a la hamburguesa.

🥤 De postre pedimos el "Milkshake del mes", con mucho sabor a cacahuete pues era el "topping" elegido y si te gusta la combinación de vainilla con cacahuete, éste te va a encantar. Yo me pedí el de filipino blanco y sencillamente brutal. La nata aunque fuera de bote industrial como es normal, estaba muy buena y mejor que la de cualquier supermercado promedio.

Cuando mezclas buen servicio con buenos profesionales y buena calidad de producto, te sale una noche redonda. No noto ni un ápice de ardor ni dolor de estómago ni similar, sólo el hinchazón por la cantidad.

💸 El precio de la comida fue de 47.6€ en total. Quedamos totalmente saciados, había comida más que de sobra. 🎖

⌛️ La eficiencia del servicio buenísima, nos sirvieron todo a la vez (que no es mi forma preferida, siempre se quiere primero los entrantes para que no se queden frías las 🍔). Raúl y las 2 personas que le acompañaban muy buenos empleados.

Stumbled across this place by mistake. Was in fact looking for its sister joint further to the east but my SatNav took me here. Wasn't aware its a chain. Anyway ... i am a burger lover and wherever i travel in the world i look for burger places. Now ... please treat my rating based on what you can find in Valencia and its vicinity. I have had better burgers (in Santa Monica being one of the places) but in Valencia its here you get the best. Plus i also like the skull designed glass mugs you fill your beer in. Maybe a cold beer on tap should be added to the place. Othrr than that ... great fast service, nice design (simple) - tables may need a bit more attention to the cleaning - but without being fussy its the food that gets the 5...
