We've been returning customers in Sirocco ever since we started coming to Torrevieja for workstations. The food is great, the restaurant is clean. But today we've been sent away because the owner refused to serve only "coffee with deserts" because "it is a restaurant and not a cafe". They said we could only be served coffee if we had a meal first. When I took it up with the manager of the restaurant he said that he wouldn't make enough if people only had coffee at his restaurant - he said that despite having only four other customers in the entire restaurant and many, many empty tables.
When I said that we have been coming to Sirocco on many occasions (and we have been tipping every single time!) he took it out on a waitress - I am sorry but it is not the waitress's job to remember which tourist has been a regular, and what they have ordered a week ago. Finally, he graciously agreed for us to have coffee, after I made a scene, but it was way too late for me. I am repulsed by this manager's behaviour and decisions (including holding his employees responsible for his "business" ideas). I am not coming again, and suggest you not go either.

The steaks came back a few minutes later just slightly more cooked than before... the staff just watched us knowing weren't happy but the attitude was " i am bothered" kind of thing.. we paid our bill and left. If it was busy then we could understand the slow service but it wasn't and by the look on some of the other diners we weren't the only people not happy... we have wanted to try this restaurant for quite awhile and feel let down by it... but you live...

Visited here for dinner on a Saturday evening, we had to wait for a table as we wanted to sit outside so that was fair enough, they did create an extra table which was appreciated so didnt have to wait. It’s clearly a popular place which drew us in, the table next to us commented how good the food was, We ordered bruchetta to start and the Brie and jam which were both very good, We both ordered the mid price steak, when came both steaks were overcooked compared to what was asked and the one steak was more fat than meat we weren’t asked how I meals were so ate what I could, the one steak was tasty but as I say overdone. The atmosphere with the sound of a the sea is very nice outside but the food isn’t worth the Que it’s the position that...
