WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! I cannot recommend this place at all. If possible I would have given 0 stars but 1 is the lowest possible. We arrived at 7:30pm to an almost empty restaurant. The young man greeting us was nice, allowed us to chose a table and took our drink order. We started with two cocktails which were delicious. After that we kept waiting for someone to come take our food order or check on us. We didn’t see the young man again and the other wait staff seemed to completely ignore us.
Again, the place was almost empty until around 9pm. We tried getting the waiters attention but no one even looked in our direction, even when our cocktail glasses had been empty for a while. We finally managed to wave a waitress to come to us about an hour and fifteen minutes after arriving. At this point we were starving so we ordered their fanciest steak medium to medium well done and mushroom sauce. When the food arrived it was definitely extremely well done, still tasted good, but the sauce was missing. It took us a while to get another waiter to stop at our table and ask for the sauce.
Time passed again and we asked another waiter for the sauce. When it finally arrived many minutes later the steak and the cooked veggie side were ice cold. They brought us tiny bit of sauce for the two of us, also cold. By this time I was really annoyed and it was very obvious the wait staff was avoiding us. They didn’t look our way, ask how the meal was, ask if we wanted dessert or check if we wanted more drinks.
This was supposed to be a nice fun night out but ended in frustration. We considered walking out and eating somewhere else, but we chose this place because it had multiple good reviews and we liked the menu.
I can truly say we will never ever go to this place again....
Read moreMate, I’ve never ordered a main dish at a restaurant and left hungry. Lasagne was the size of what you would think is a kids dish, but at adult prices (16 euro! That’s like 30 Australian bucks brother!). It tasted nice enough, but even as a slightly shorter than average woman it was half of what I would normally eat. But the largest offence was the carbonara pasta. Cool presentation and show with the whole cheese wheel thing, but the amount of pasta served per person was simply laughable. When they originally brought out the cooked pasta and put it in the wheel, I thought, “haha that looks like it’s for one person, but three people here at the table ordered pasta…surely they’re just making it one at a time…” but nope! The waiter (very nice and had a good sense of humour, mind you) proceeded to split it between three plates (well bowls that curve outwards so it looks a bit like a plate). The pasta did not fill it to the top like in other photos I’ve seen in other reviews which look great. It’s unfortunate it happened as apparently the pasta itself tasted great. We complained and the server eventually served us a proper-looking fourth plate, which we subsequently split three ways. The funniest part was that the kid’s chicken and fries plate was the biggest portion at the table…for the kid! Madness like. Anyways now we’re grabbing pizza and ice cream as we’re still hungry....
Read moreWe came to this restaurant in a group of 8 people. The restaurant is presented nicely and had live football playing which was good. The first con was a virtual menu which would not load for some - a ar code has to be scanned off a wooden block which the code was carved in to. We ordered 'Sharing Starters" and 2 plates of bread to nibble on. The starters hadn't even been halfway eaten and our mains arrived. We waited another 15 minutes for 2 of the mains and when our server was asked where they are he claimed "they were on the way", which they weren't and one was even forgotten about. Then when the server tried to explain why they were on the way he said "it is because they are mains", even thought most of us have nearly finished our mains that came with our starters. On a positive note, the food was very nice and presented well. We also ordered another round of drinks which never arrived (thankfully we weren't charged) In the end when the bill was asked for, we discovered we were charged for 8 plates of bread when we only got 4. When one of us questioned the waiter about it in a calm tone the waiter responded with "lady lady don't fight with me" which was incredibly rude to add to be told to relax earlier during the evening.
The food is very overpriced, poor and rude service ,...
