We’ve been willing to pay Bikini Cabanyal a visit for a while now and finally today was the day. And I can honestly say I wish we hadn’t waited that much to visit this little gem of a place!
The good experience started on arrival: the waitresses welcomed us with (genuine) smiles and promptly took us to our table.
A charming little “ahoy Marcos” card on the table instead a generic “reserved” one was a nice detail and a sign of (good) things to come.
We ordered the “sobrasada carpaccio” (delicious!) as a started and I went for the “pastrami burger” while my wife went for the “(non) classic Bikini sandwich”.
My pastrami burger was HEAVENLY (and I know my burgers!) and my wife liked her sandwich too, although I think she’ll be trying the pastrami sandwich next time…
For dessert we both had a lime & passionfruit mousse (I think it was a mousse?) and it didn’t disappoint either!
So all in all a charming little place with very good service and excellent food (and very clean toilets!).
That’s a solid 10/10 in my book and we’ll definitely become regulars!
So congratulations to the Bikini Cabanyal team and keep up...
Read moreLast night, my friends and I had an extraordinary evening at Bikini Cabanyal, a bar that exudes a uniquely charming atmosphere. The menu is a feast for the eyes, offering a wide variety of dishes, each presented with exceptional care.
What truly amazed me was finding Pilsner on tap, something I hadn't encountered in Valencia in the past five years. It was a delightful surprise that added to the overall experience.
The service was impeccable, with the waitresses being both quick and cheerful. Their friendliness and efficiency greatly enhanced our visit.
One of the most pleasant surprises was the smoke-free veranda, which allowed us to enjoy the evening air without the intrusion of cigarette smoke.
Bikini Cabanyal is a gem in Valencia's vibrant nightlife scene, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful place to spend an evening...
Read moreCame upon this restaurant by chance, made a reservation on the same day as it was close by. We wanted a quick and tasty in and out lunch. We waited 40 minutes to get our starter (a cold dish, a carpaccio). The croquetas were not croquetas for any Spanish person, they were rock hard and an odd mix of flavours. We are still waiting for our mains (two sandwiches) as I write this. The staff is nice but clearly stressed and understaffed.
Update: We got our sandwiches. The chips were stale and the sandwiches were underwhelming. 1.5h to get our food. The table right next to us was sat right now and 10 mins in they had their food.
Love how you tried to justify all your mistakes instead of apologising for the mistakes you made and the stale food. No we won’t be...
