Hi fellow traveler! I visited this beach during my vacation in Valencia. Overall, it was worth spending time here. Let me share the pros and cons:
Pros: The sand is great—nice to walk on while the waves hit your feet. The beach is very large, so you can find a peaceful spot if you walk a bit. You can rent an umbrella and sunbed at a decent price. There are a few cafés where you can grab a drink. You can take a quick shower after swimming and use the bathrooms on the beach. It's easy to access by metro and bus. There are police and lifeguards, so you feel safe.
Cons: The sea is dirty and warm. There are also a lot of waves. It's not a good beach for swimming. Some parts of the beach are extremely crowded.

Read moreFabulous beach. It must be one of the best beaches in Europe. My only issue is the price of the sun loungers which have gone up each year and are now €9 an item. For that you get absolutely no facilities. Each section should have its own toilet. We used the one toilet in a shed and the smell and the heat was horrendous. No water, soap or toilet paper. Huge queues. Other options are a few Porto loos around the place equally as horrible. For the money that is being collected on sun loungers and umbrellas you'd think they could put serviced toilets along the beach front. Even charge for usage if...
