Gina Melenas, a cousin of a well-known, Ruzafa-based La Finestra, follows the same concept: affordable surprise mini-pizzas, cheap beer and approachable - though random - decor. For a casual hangout, it works great and there are plenty of choices (pizzas can be made without gluten and/or with traditional buffalo mozarella, there are salads, deserts, wine, coffee). Like La Finestra, things aren’t perfect here, either; Gina needs a serious top-to-bottom scrub, and the pizza dough needs a pinch more salt. Other than that, it’s a nice low-key hangout where the hours pass unnoticed.

Lovely new discovery in the neighborhood. I love that all you have to do is specify the type of pizza you want (vegan, vegetarian, mixed) and they’ll surprise you with a creation. The smaller sizes are great so you can have a snack or share a few varieties with friends. They also have an excellent salad, that is truly a salad, not like the other pseudo “salads” you’ll typically find in Valencia. Casual, comfy, and welcoming. Also very well priced. €3/pizza, €4 for a spritz. What’s not to like?

Good atmosphere, reminds me a bit of Budapest ruin bars. Plenty of tables inside, there are a very few outside too. Loved that they had a vegan pizza option. Pizzas are small 10-15cm, but affordable. Some of the staff had a bit of an attitude. We also waited for a good 10 minutes at the table, none of the staff told us we should be ordering at the bar.. although several passed by.
