The thing is this place has gone worse and worse over the time being.
When only this restaurant existed, it was quite good. I have been here many times, even the chef was Thai at the beginning.
You can tell from the food it has gone worse, before it tasted more authentic, the recipes were closer to Thai dishes, and they had three sauces ( prik nam pla, crushed chilli, nam prik pao ) that you can have to pump the different flavors in a Thai dish.
Today has been quite bad, only goodish thing was the pad Thai, that even though it's not close to the authentic one, tastes quite good and the execution is also good.
I've seen the service quite bad today, quite rude and just serving and go without caring to much, started with missing forks for both of us. I heard conversations from other tables and also how the customers were treated was far from nice.
The dishes we ordered were okish, but far from the old times. The worst thing was the white rice 🍚, they served it and it looked so small, I tried and called the waitress.
I told the waitress that was not cooked, was hard, just closed abruptly the container with making noise and ran away. Later she brings the rice, put it not very nicely on the table and left.
I tried it and it was the same, we left it as it was the same batch. When we called the waitress to pay she mentioned that the rice was still there, so I told here that it was the same, uncooked and hard. She tried to justify that it was Jasmine rice, and it is what they serve to everyone and I told her that I have Jasmine rice at home, even without rice cooker is much better and close than three one they eat in Thailand, I've been there many times, rice in southeast Asia is not hard, it's soft, not like paella.
I wonder if I will...

The waitress was quite dismissive and indifferent in answering our questions and attending to the table. It's worth noting that the shrimp pad thai was disappointing, considering that it had only 2 and a half shrimp; when the member of our party who was eating it asked the waitress if that was the normal amount of shrimp, she went to the kitchen to ask and when she returned to the table, she answered "yes" in a pointed way and without any further thought or courtesy. The portions are good and the flavors are also nice, but our overall experience was quite bad because of the attitude of the staff, especially the waitress. I hope it was just a bad day.
Read moreThis was a disappointing experience. The food had Thai names but none of their flavour. Starters: We ordered the prawns in coconut, which were nice and crunchy. The chicken wings were really bland. It's sad to say when you would have enjoyed a KFC more.
Mains: we ordered a massaman curry to share. This tasted nothing like massaman curry. The beef tasted like Irish stewed beef. The vegetables were raw. The taste was all wrong. So, we ordered a green curry to hopefully salvage the situation. Once again it tasted nothing like a Thai green curry. The chicken was awful and tasteless. Again it seemed the meat and vegetables (raw) were cooked separately from the sauce. The sauce did not taste like green curry at all. The rice was bland and stodgy too.
Although the place wasn't full, we felt rushed by the waiter. They even took some dishes away that still had food in it. We felt we could not just sit and enjoy the atmosphere.
The decor is beautiful and the water was delicious! But overall this was a disappointing culinary experience. We've eaten Thai food all over Thailand and beyond but never this tasteless. Even in London pubs you can get a solid Thai dish.
They maybe pandering to the Spanish market. But this is a mistake. We won't be returning....
