Mehfil — Restaurant in Valencia

Myself and my partner went here for dinner last week Sunday and it was some of the nicest food I’ve had in a while! We went for the set menus.

I got the prawn starter and found it to be absolutely delightful! The prawns were juicy and well cooked whilst also packed with flavour. A delicious starter!

We also got the fish pakora which I think was to die for! The fish was so soft and flaky it was an absolutely beautiful texture! I would go back for this alone, it really was perfectly cooked to me.

I got the lamb rogan josh, the flavour of that sauce genuienly put a smile on my face! Even thinking about this food is making me hungry, the flavour was absolutely delicious and warming too! I don’t eat lamb often but it tasted perfect, the meat itself was incredibly tender. The garlic naan was the perfect side for this meal, fluffy, warming and perfect for soaking up all the lovely sauce from the rogan josh.

Dessert consisted of mango cream and pistachio kulfi. The mango cream was delightful! Fantastic mango flavour and it was light, refreshing yet still a sweet treat. My partner preferrred the pistachio kulfi. They found the kulfi to be a perfect balance of sweet and complimented with rich nuttiness. Both deserts were perfect accompaniments to the flavour filled mains.
