SCHUESSLER BURGER & MORE — Restaurant in Valencia

This place serves food in non-heatsafe plastic, which is incredibly toxic for the human body.

I ordered from there a week or so ago, and whilst the food was good, I realised halfway through eating it that they had used packages intended for salads, not hot food. This type of plastic leeches into your food and causes all sorts of health problems. It's not a minor thing but in fact a serious health issue linked with cancer, infertility and various other things. It was incredibly unpleasant to have this realisation after already having eaten most of the food.

I phoned them up to tell them about it and the girl was nice about it, and obviously it was not her fault. She said she would forward the information. I then sent them an email, to confirm in writing that we had had this phone call, and to remind them of the importance of changing the packaging.

I ordered again last night a. Because the food was good and b. Because I wanted to see if they had changed it.

5 out of the 6 things I ordered came in heatsafe cardboard packages, but for some reason they still put one hot item in the exact same unsafe plastic they had used before. Essentially: they care more about saving a few euros than they do about the long term health of their customers. It's an absolute disgrace, and I will be reporting it to the relevant authorities. The first time we ate here it was a Super great experience, the staff's English wasn't the best (the chef however spoke fluent English) but we got what we wanted and they where very patient with us so it would get correct. We got the "cheese bacon potatoes" and when it arrived it was a bucket of cheese covered fries with fried bacon sprinkled on top, this we both ate of and it was going to be hard to top i thought, Then!, the "Joe Grand Smash" entered!

This was a delicious burger! (i would have had something like pickles or pickled red onions to break the salty and juicy fat but it was still delicious!), The salty bacon with the cheese and perfectly cooked meat, surrounded by the bread of heaven (Seriously HOW to make this bread?!) This was a beast of burgers so both me and my wife in the end had to give up from just sharing this!, If you pass by then try it!, However i tried to order to takeaway but it didn't become correct, but after going back with the burger they offered to correct it or my money back, so they did the right thing and they did make a heavenly burger the first time so I'm going to come back in the future when I'm in...

Reseña actual a julio 2025: Han vuelto a poner sus hamburguesas top y más bestias, la de macarrones y la pepa pig 2.0 y yo de paso por Valencia tengo que hacer mi parada obligatoria, no tienen competencia con esas dos hamburguesas en cantidad, calidad y el precio es lo básico, hace meses las quitaron de carta por fallas y ya después no las pusieron y está aquí comentado y les puse su única estrella , las han vuelto a poner y es lo mejor que habéis hecho si venís pedirlas y no hay comparación con ninguna en ningún lado. Hundred ...Eat jetkins son lugares de Valencia muy buenos pero están dos hamburguesas y una nueva que han puesto con pastrami... 😍😍😍 Gracias al dueño por hacer caso de las reseñas que comentamos y espero que la gente venga y pida las grandes y se de el homenaje como nosotros

Reseña marzo de 2025: Resido en Madrid y como friki de las hamburguesas entre otras cosas cada ciertos meses venía a este paraíso a disfrutar de las mega hamburguesas y buenísimas que tenían en este lugar que les hacía diferentes a otros tan buenos como Hundred o Eatjetkins ahí mismo en Valencia o en toda España, mi sorpresa fue el otro día cuando me escape unos días por la zona para pegarme el homenaje aqui sobre todo y han quitado de la carta y ya no las van a poner a sus bestseller que son las que menciono en mi reseña de hace un año y saco en las fotos... Que establecimiento quita sus dos mejores hamburguesas y su precio de 19€ era elevado pero se pagaba lo que hiciera falta con tal de esas hamburguesas, y no ponen otras parecidas en sustitución y como quitas tus dos mejores...si miráis la carta actual no hay ninguna que llame la atención y se te caiga la baba, es un lugar normal.. Ojalá las vuelvan a poner porque con esas hamburguesas daba que hablar el lugar y estaba en el top de España pero sin ellas no está en ningún lado es una pena...menos mal que a la vuelta esta el Eatjetkins y pude contentarme un poco...pero mi desiilusión con vuestras hamburguesas me dolió mucho...

Reseña de febrero de 2024: El paraíso de las hamburguesas en España ahora mismo yo creo que está aquí 👌🏽🥺🤤 Con infinitas burgers a elegir y la mayoría de tamaños extra grandes. Es una auténtica pasada y su calidad está muy buena, nosotros compartimos la Maccheroni Burger( con dos carnes distintas y sus mac and cheese con su toque que era la bomba)y My Princess ( una combinación de quesos increíble 😍) Cada vez que vas te da para compartir dos distintas... Una pena que no se quede en carta la de la costilla del mes de diciembre .. Y manía que se están cogiendo en muchas hamburgueserías no añadir patatas fritas, aunque sean unas pocas pero me estoy gastando en una mega hamburguesa 19€ por lo menos pon unas pocas, y igual a destacar en la my Princess les dije de quitar la mermelada de cebolla, y ponerme de extra bacon y 1,50€ , si ya te estas gastando 19€.. y te quito un extra...los pequeños detalles de unas pocas patatas o si te gastas ese dinero y quitas un extra y añades otro en muchos sitios tienen...
