I have been going to Artysana for a few months now and I have to say it keeps improving. Well, the food is all "casero", really homemade, like you tend to want to eat the whole place when you get there and they are baking the chocolate or the carrot cake. You can always find some new additional and seasonal bits in the menu to really affordable prices. Sometimes I am in awe at how they can manage all of that in such a small kitchen space (which is open, btw). Coffee is the best in the area. And I am pretty fussy about it. Plus they host a lot of events like tastings of wine and beer, movie nights, poetry nights, book clubs, live music, language exchange every Friday evening, ... Local artists are displaying their art on their walls. The staff is alway so kind and I must say, this is not often the case in cafes in Valencia. If you plan to go there on a Saturday or Sunday you might have to wait a moment for your table as it gets quite busy. They have a lovely back patio too. Super highly...
Read moreWhether you're in Valencia for a visit or you live here, you MUST visit! It’s lively, full of art from local artists, super cool and funky decór, gorgeous tree-lined patio, delicious food, and superb matcha lattes.
The staff are warm and welcoming, their food is healthy, reasonably priced, and delicious, and there's always something fun going on like co-working days, movie nights, language exchanges etc.
There's also a large table in the back that is used for creative events. I've started hosting art workshops there on Thursdays and Jana has been an incredible help in making it all happen. She's quick to reply to messages, follows up to make sure everything went smoothly, and the staff could not be more kind.
I'm grateful that there's such a wonderful place like this in Valencia, not only to enjoy a delicious meal or a latte and read a good book or do some work but a place to also create community. It’s definitely THE place to be. Highly recommend it, not...
Read moreHi fellow traveler! This place was very close to our Airbnb, so we decided to try it, and it was worth the visit. Let me share the pros and cons:
Pros: The menu was unique for us—not too many options, but just enough, which is a good thing. I chose the dish with hummus and tomatoes, and it was very delicious. I liked the vibe inside; it’s full of art and cozy. The staff was very friendly. It's a good place to bring your computer and work; there were a few people doing that. The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the service and food.
Cons: Honestly, there wasn’t anything negative for me. Just be aware of peak hours if you want to find a good table.
All in all, I highly...
