Zazú Cortes — Restaurant in Valencia

Food was horrible. Ordered a medium and a well done steak, both came rare / nearly raw. No questions asked due to language barrier i guess. We barely finished the food Asked to pay, had to ask again several times before we could actually pay. Nearly waited 20 minutes for it. Due to the employee just talking with his colleague and chilling around the bar. He did give us the receipt, he Just didnt come for me to pay with card. After paying the only decent english speaking employee asked if it was good. I told them no, its almost served raw and half the steak was cold and the fat was hard couldnt even stick my fork into it. All he said was oh sorry. I will tell the chef, that will be 50 euros please. When i got to the hotel my stomach completely turned 2 hours later having severe diarrhea and throwing up.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is fairly good, good looking place. Dancing / entertainment and music were nice.

Probably will never go there again if i visit valencia.

Overall, overrated. The place has potential but screaming drunken stag/hen parties - at 3pm! - utterly ruined the experience.

The good: the shows were well done and great to watch the waiters were very friendly

The neutral: the food was fine but nothing out of this world, especially for the price

The bad: the service was very slow they were unable to give us one of the starters we ordered but still tried to charge us for it the other people dining there made the experience miserable. The place was full of shrieking drunken hen and stag parties, with one particularly lovely gentleman even throwing his beer everywhere, including over us and the people next to us. It even landed on the underside and side of the upper floor. The waiters were helplessly apologetic, rather than asking the offending party to leave. the bathrooms were a particular low point. The women's had no toilet paper or toilet seat, and the men's had faeces on the seat. I came here without expectations, (except for maybe entering with the soundtrack of The Lion King 😉).

I ordered the 'Scar', with fries on the side. Took them not even 10 minutes to prepare. The burger was insanely good. I wouldn't have thought about a burger combined with pulled pork, but it was really good.
