Aromas — Restaurant in Valldemossa

We don't think this is racism but it is the type of place where the waiters (probably owners) just really HATE tourists.

We wanted to have a seat and enjoy a beverage in Valldemossa. The café looks inviting and authentic, however, the staff was complete RUBBISH for making faces and being utterly impolite.

My girlfriend ordered an orange & lemon drink. It might have been our fault not to know about this drink but it was almost as sour as pure lemon (I personally love sour tastes, but still) We did not have a problem with that as it might be a local drink or something but when my girlfriend went up and politely asked for some sugar, this is how it sounded like:

Girlfriend: Excuse me. This drink is too sour for me. Could I get some sugar? ^^

Male waiter: Go to your table... 😒

This is something you say to a dog, not your customer.

Make no mistake, this was NOT a language barrier issue. Their English is good enough to say " Sure, I'll bring it to you". The guy deliberately tries to sound bossy and alpha male-ish which is complete garbage.

A lot of groups tried to ask for a table in the garden (it is advertised at the entrance) but as the garden tables are full, the same waiter turns them down with attitude and a simple "BYE".

The only reason we did not say a word was because we wanted to enjoy Valldemossa and not start arguing with BS, uneducated people like that to ruin our holiday.

The prices are good for the area but I would rather pay much more to receive decent serving. Fortunately, the beauty of Valdemossa never fails to entertain but this terrible experience did leave some mark on us during that afternoon.

The only reason I took a picture of the entrance is that people know to RUN AWAY when they see it.

Horrible costumer service! I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. It is a shame because the garden is lovely. We ordered three salads and they took an hour to bring them. The worse thing is that we had to go and asked for the salads as they were taking to long. They said that they had a “problem” with lettuce… Once we wanted to pay we asked them to split the bill in three but the waiter denied and said in a very rude way “we can’t do this” and slammed the till. With us being a group of 7, it was very difficult to enjoy the meal as it was coming all that different times and missing parts of our meals. (A greek salad and they forgot the Feta) LOL We were surprised with the waiter’s attitude as the place looks lovely....

I visited this place a few days ago. Food was ok. But the staff was very rude. Me and my wife were selecting our order but the steward was on our head and kept on asking if we were ready with our order. We also asked the dessert to be brought after we had finished our food, but he got the dessert(which had ice cream) before. Then we asked them to keep it. They did, but before we could even finish the the food, they kept on asking to bring the dessert. Very rude staff, trying to be sarcastic as if they are doing us a favour. Not recommended. You can get better food in various other places in Valdemossa where they are much...
