I am in love with food and good restaurants with chill environment and pretty views. There are not many things that I like more than a good service and a quality treatment to products with high category. And there's nothing now a days that I like more than this place. I came here with my parents and sister thanks to somebody recommendation. It's a very little restaurant with some stairs and delicate decoration. We booked a table for the four of us in the terrace, and we couldn't have chosen better.
We asked for the Tabbouleh Salad as starter. A cold salad with a very interesting but balanced mix of textures and flavorful. The mint dressing, ti my taste, was a bit too intense. Is, in anyway, perfect for sharing. My father, who's not a big burger fan himself, had the Retinto Beef Burger. I did not get to taste it, but he affirmed that he had never tasted such a good buger in his entire life. Spicy but full of flavor, the meat melted in his mouth in each bite. With side of fat fries and a simle but refreshing salad. My sister had Mini Tuna Burguer in Bao Bread. If you like algae in your food the you'll love this dish. The meat, tuna in this case, melted in our mouths like butter. It was soft and full of texture and flavors. It was a delight for sea lovers. It came again with a side of fries. My mom and I had Acorn-fed Iberian Acorn-fed Pork Shoulder. Unfortunatelly the meat was too for what we asked for, we wanted to enjoy the juices of this precious piece of pork. In any case, the taste was strong, like it must be, and it came with the tasties mushrooms I've ever eaten. As dessert we asked for Cheesecake. Careful, it was not the typical cheesecake with its cookie base and its creamy filling made of milk, butter and cheese. It was a cheese made into a cake. I live for and for sweets, and this is very likely the best dessert I have ever ordered in any restaurant. It was sweet but not overly so, the flavor of the cheese was mild but remarkable, it was flufy and juicy and, the best of all, it was tempered! I had never eaten eanything like it, I do not know if it's something typal of the area but it was the icing on the cake.
As for the service offered by the workers, I must say that me myself have worked in restaurants before and rarely have I seen such a warm and professional kind from the tall guy whom attended. He was attentive but without beiing irritating. He made sure that we were not lacking lacking in anything and, overall, he had the beatiful geasture of not charging uns for the dessert in compesation for the problem with the meat dich. It was brilliant, my contratulations to him, I wish I could remember his name.
The views was what made the evening even more perfect if possible. Below I will leave a couple of photos that I took through the terrace to the idyllic views that we could enjoy during dinner.
Remains to say that the price was almost ridiculously cheap. We paid a total of about 95€ for five glasses of a delicate and light semi-sweet white wine, three beers, all the food except the dessert, one of the best service I've ever recive and priceless views. Not enough words to describe how wonderful this place is, both for couples or small groups. Of course you need to book with several days in andvance. I will surely return again and...
Read moreWell, if you’re looking for a warm and attentive welcome and be shown to a nicely dressed table with mood lighting that you had been led to expect, particularly as you had booked, along with outstanding food, I suggest you go to another restaurant.
The ‘service’ was indifferent. The artichoke salad was delicious but a paltry portion. My fish dish which was described on the menu in mouth-watering terms turned out to be simple white fish which was lacking in any form or texture or flavour and smothered in a non-descript sauce. My wife’s chicken dish was OK but again, its description on the menu was wide of the mark.
We were so disappointed that we skipped dessert.
We requested to be seated on the upstairs terrace but didn’t know that it’s split into two sections. There’s the well-decorated, nicely lit section with plenty of cheer and ambience and then there’s the gulag where we were seated.
Maybe the indifferent food was the result of the chef having an ‘off night’ who knows, but the area on the terrace desperately needs to be refurbished and the waiting staff need to be retrained or sacked.
I know that this review goes against the view of the majority but it is a truthful account of our experience so I leave it up to you.

Read moreArrived around 1:40 pm and was asked to be seated immediately. To my surprise there was a Terrace offered and that is what we chose. The Terrace has an amazing view of the beautiful town. I ordered salad with goat cheese, walnuts, raisins, mixed greens and a balsamic glaze and oil dressing. It was absolutely delish but it was 12.50 euro on menu which I thought was pricey but then it was 14 euro on our check. Be mindful there is also a service fee which is basically a seating fee 1.40 euro. There are also additional charges for olives and bread if you eat them. They bring them automatically. If you don't eat them you're not charged. So if you taste and don't like, you're charged. This is not told to you when you are seated so if you are not used to this you might get surprised. My hubs ordered the 15 euro burger which came with a small side of fries. He said it was one of the best he'd ever had. The food is delicious. The value is worth it if you sit on the Terrace. Be mindful of what costs should be and any additions. I gave it a 4 because I don't like incorrect pricing and surprises added to my bill. The view was superb and...
