WOW WOW WOW. If you have the opportunity, dine here. Food, wine, service, atmosphere, all exceptional. This husband and wife team and their staff have it all right. Wonderful fresh, local fare, seafood and meat, exquisitely prepared with their special take. So flavorsome. We had croquettes and salmon with avocado to start and extraordinary lamb (wow) and fish for main. Husband is chef. Wife is pastry chef and has a national award for her take on apple pie. Desserts were exceptional, truly. A good wine list, all high quality and great value, as was whole meal. Carpenteria is in an old carpentry shop where they fixed wooden boats. Great location. Pues...si quieres saber mi opinión 😉 leer con atención 😎 es un lugar muy bonito, que simula un taller de carpintería ( es una puesta en escena claro) el servicio es eficiente, los camareros son amables y cordiales, ahora sí vas a comer o cenar con tu pareja 🙏 no pidas la mesa de la cierra circular 😞 es súper incómoda ( deberían quitarla del servicio de comida) pero vamos a lo que has venido, a leer el porqué de mis dos estrellas, si el ambiente es bueno, el servicio es el adecuado...que pasó ?? La comida!!! Eso pasa y a ver en esto quiero o intento ser muy responsable a la hora de hablar de la gastronomía, 1) la comida no es mala , está bien 2) te lo sirven en formato Michelin ⭐ Y tú me dirás entonces 🙂... bueno lo que pasa es que cuando uno intenta venderte un plato estrella Michelin y cobrarlo casi como el mismo 🙏 no solo tienes que emplatar para la foto 😞 también tiene que saber a plato estrella ⭐ Y acá está el problema, la comida está bien, pero no brilla en ningún momento, es comida como la de cualquier cafetería de Vigo con emplate para la foto de Instagram y que puedas decir miren como se ve mi plato estrella ⭐ pero la realidad es que es plato de menú mal servido 😞 cobrado cómo un plato de primera línea de un restaurante 😉 Para terminar mi opinión sobre este lugar : si te gusta comer bien, rico y pagar por la comida y no por el post ...no es tu lugar 😞 como tampoco el mío 🙄 lamento mucho... pero tal vez mi expectativa era muy alta y me encontré decepcionado...
