Restaurant El Nus — Restaurant in Vilanova i la Geltrú

Brilliant seafood restaurant in Villanova. I'm not a fish lover in any manner. It was a "must have" recommendation by my sister in law who knows I don't like fish. We booked for lunch. The Waiter who was looking after us was very busy as the restaurant was packed. He showed us the table and came back after 10 minutes. The orders were taken quickly and the service was faultless. This restaurant has a fixed menu with whatever the preparation for the day is mentioned in the placard. One starter one main and a dessert. We started with Vermouth with ice followed by Spanish white wine for the table. The food is just spectacular and this is a review from someone who doesn't understand or like fish. My fried calamari starter and sharing Prawn Paella was simply outstanding. The dishes were cooked to perfection. The lemon sorbet and Mango sorbet are good. We wandered along the front in Vilanova but returned to the classic looking El Nus (crisp tablecloths, sparkling glasses) and varied menu. Note - they do not charge a supplement for paella on their Menu del Dia which was delicious. Respectful, attentive service and most importantly great food. Sorpresa estropeada Buenas tardes No puedo esperar más para escribir mi opinión esta mañana he llamado por teléfono para ver si podía llevar una tarta casera la chica que me ha atendido era la de la cocina y me ha dicho que no había ningún problema aunque normalmente pedian ticket cuál ha sido mi sorpresa cuando he llegado y la camarera que luego me he enterado que era la propietaria me ha acogido de muy malas maneras diciendo que cogía la tarta porque comíamos fuera y muy desagradable

cuando mi hermana ha llegado antes que nosotros al restaurante la propietaria le ha dicho la tarta que han cogido no te la tendría que haber cogido porque no tiene ticket o sea ha destruido la sorpresa con mala leche además en el momento de servir la tarta la han sacado dentro de la caja sin poner ni siquiera las velas hubiera preferido que me dijeran desde el principio que no podía llevar la tarta

nos han atendido súper mal Cuando ya nos íbamos había otra persona con una tarta y como ella si había presentado el ticket le han sacado la tarta con las velas encendidas y fuera de la caja , en resumen el servicio fatal fatal mal no lo siguiente.
