I recently had the pleasure of dining at a cozy restaurant with a truly unique and intimate setting. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor and layout created a sense of comfort and relaxation like you were dining in someone’s home.
But what truly set this restaurant apart was the culinary genius of Chef Fabrizio. His food is nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish is crafted with a level of creativity and passion that is truly shows through. The flavors and presentation are simply exquisite. I was blown away by the amazing uniqueness of every bite.
In addition to the incredible food, the music played by Chef Fabrizio added another layer of enjoyment to the dining experience. His eclectic playlist kept me smiling throughout the meal. It created a nostalgic and enjoyable ambiance. You are able to find his playlist creation on Spotify.
I'm already counting down the days until I can return to this exceptional restaurant. The combination of the cozy atmosphere, the amazing food, great staff and the delightful music make it a place I want to visit again and again. We bestelde als eerste gerecht de mosselen, lees minimosseltjes, met op de bodem aangebrand brood, de saus was perfect van smaak maar olieachtig. 2e gerecht was risotto met rode garnalen, we kregen een bord ter grootte van een ontbijtbord met 1 rauwe niet van darm kanaal ontdane garnaal die nog glazig was, dus niet opgegeten. De kelner vroeg hoe het gesmaakt had. Ik zei "we hebben risotto met garnalen besteld en er ligt 1 garnaal op, de smaak vd risotto was ook niet geweldig " Hij reageerde dat het risotto was met de smaak van garnalen 🤔. We hadden inmiddels een 2e fles wijn besteld, we waren van plan meerdere gerechten te bestellen, maar onze teleurstelling was te groot. We besloten onze fles wijn mee te nemen en het voor gezien te houden. De teleurstelling was nog groter toen we de rekening kregen, 25 Euro voor een boterhambordje met risotto met 1 garnaal.
Wat opviel was dat de eigenaar aan iedere tafel vroeg of het naar wens was en ons mijdde, wrs stond hij niet open voor kritiek, die ik al kenbaar gemaakt had bij de kelner toen hij vroeg of het naar wens was.
Voor ons was dit de slechtste diner ervaring in Javea. De kelner was vriendelijk dat was het enige positieve aan de avond. Verder hadden een nare nasmaak bij het gebeuren. —-------------------

Das Risotto mit rote shrimp war immer noch enttäuschend, mit 1 glasigen Garnelen mit dem Darmtrakt noch darin. Danach mussten wir uns später für einen Sandwichteller entscheiden. mit 1 Garnelen 25 Euro Lohn, skandalös, wir fühlten uns ausgeraubt. Das einzig Positive an dem Abend war der freundliche Kellner. The first x eaten in this restaurant, which was also the last x. What a bad food, mini mussels with bread burned on the bottom. The sauce was good can smasdk, spicy but also greasy.
The 2nd dish risotto with shrimps was even more disappointing, There was 1 ride of glassy shrimp with the intestinal tract still in it The waiter asked if it had tasted good. I said" it would be risotto with red shrimps, we get 1 Shrimp" he said it's with the taste from schrimps🤔 As it turned out, this plate of risotto cost 25 euros, we felt ripped, the taste was not to write home about. The owner went to ask at every table if it tasted good but avoided our table , probably he was not open to criticism. We wanted to fill evening to celebrate our wedding day with even more dishes, The 2nd bottle of wine we have. but taken home, no longer in the mood for more dishes. The only positive thing was the waiter, friendly. This restaurant is for us not a recommendation for friends. If you have not already discovered 9 Donde Fabrizio in the old town of Javea, then you should.
As small, creative restaurants in Javea go.. this is my favourite. Fabrizio Pellegrini is a rare kind of chef.. a creative culinary genius and one of the most welcoming hosts of any restaurant I have ever been to.
Whether it is for a quiet dinner for two or a very lively large group (I just celebrated my birthday there) Fabrizio and his team will feed you the most amazing, delicious food along with a super selection of wines in a very cozy, beautifully designed and welcoming location near the Church square.
I'm conscious his already significant following will not thank me for sharing this exceptional place.. but hey... I guess anyone that discovers this jewel of a restaurant as a result of this review will thank me.....
