Returned to one of our favorite restaurants to enjoy menu del dia as we have previously. The difference? Today was an awful experience. The starters were nice but my main and dessert were dire. Chips reminded me of a dried up leftovers after a night out. Overcooked veal. We noticed the usual chef was absent and the owner was doing the cooking. I was asked by the owners partner why I didn't eat it and I said it's dry, overcooked and inedible. She pointed out that the other couple in the restaurant ate it. Lol. Well maybe they don't appreciate good food. But what professional would respond like that to a known customer?? Was truly hoping that the dessert wouldn't dissapoint. How wrong was I,? A square of something heavily deep fried in breadcrumbs with a touch of cream and jam. Truly awful. No offer of a discount or something different or a free drink despite knowing us and our family. Would like to start by saying that we were impressed from the first moment we walked in. We were pleasantly greeted by lovely owner Julia , who was a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. The interior is absolutely gorgeous! Our mocktails and white wine Sangria were fantastic. The bread with home made butter were yummy and ALL dishes that we ordered were delicious especially my Red Tuna dish- I was incredibly surprised, the taste of it was unbelievable😋😋😋👌 After our meal we met the owner-chef Victor, who came across as a very nice man, we enjoyed our little chat with him. Can’t wait to come back again and try other dishes on the menu. I must say that it won’t be one of your cheapest meals but it’s well worth the price. Would definitely recommend...

First time following a recommendation and it won’t be the last . We had the menu lunch . All made on site down to the herb butter . 3 delicious starters, a choice of main , dessert and wine/beer .
