Restaurante Malabrasa — Restaurant in Xàbia / Jávea

Waited for half an hour to have my order taken because only one person can take orders. It seems that this is because of the great story he has to sell you onto starters. Turns out that when he finally had time for us we spoke English so his entire sales pitch was lost and we immediately got passed to the second waiter that was free the entire time.

To be clear, it seems that the one person at the entry, that also seems to be some sort of "leader" isn't particularly good at his job nor to his employees that he does not allow to take orders without his permission.

After that, the drinks we ordered were forgotten, the mains arrived before the starters and one of the mains was raw while the other was barely acceptable. We shared the main that was acceptable and had to send the other one back. By far the worst restaurant experience I've...

Excellent food and service, in a lovely restaurant very near the plaza de la constitución. We shared a salad and prawns for starters, between two, although one of these would have been enough. The caldereta de pescado was excellent as a main course, though we ordered additional bread. With drinks, the bill ended up as a rather pricey 40 euros per person. This is the only reason why I have not rated the restaurant as 5 stars. On saying that, I will definitely go back, but...

Estuve cenando anoche y la verdad es que no fue un experiencia muy agradable. El camarero/dueño es verdad que nos aviso que no tenían gas y lo entendimos perfectamente, a su consejo pedimos unos parpadelle de calabacin que era....calabacin cortado con el pelador de patatas y "parmesano rallado" imagino que en innovación de platos sois unos cracks porque visto lo visto os ha llevado un gran esfuerzo gastronómico inventar ese plato. La lubina pasable. ..nada del otro mundo y poca brasa. Ambiente totalmente familiar, no vayas con tu pareja en plan romántico que los críos gritan y corren como si estuvieran en el parque y nadie le dice absolutamente nada"son niños y no les vamos a atar o amordazar" encima le dices a mi pareja que vaya el a decirle algo a los padres. ...ES TU LOCAL....y vas TU ,así que permíteme amablemente avisar a los demás futuros comensales a lo que se pueden encontrar. El local no tiene nada que ver con lo que ves en la página web,las sillas no son las que allí aparecen de mimbre,aparentemente más cómodas. En cuanto al trato,amables pero dada la escasez de personal que sufre España ,poco profesionales....pero hacen lo que pueden.No recomiendo pero no obligó a nadie que haga lo...
