Green & Grill — Restaurant in Yaiza

Wow, 18 Euro's for a 3 course meal including half a bottle of wine, beautiful outlook, friendly staff and really tasty food, not sure what more you could ask for. The photos are the sizzling prawns in garlic starter (really lovely), the fillet steak cooked how you like it (that's the empty plate on account of the fact it was so delicious I had to get stuck in before taking a photo), it comes with choice of vegetables, fries, Canarian wrinkly potatoes or creamed potatoes, and the dessert, which is a selection of 3 desserts, a sorbet, an almond flan and a mini panacotta, every course absolutely lovely. Great...

I do not understand how this restaurant is rated 4.5. The service was appalling. To be fair one of the waiters was lovely - very engaging and discursive. The other one was beyond rude. The waiter laughed in our faces when we spoke to him in Spanish rudely correcting us. The food was not of a bad standard per se and therefore we would have stayed longer but the waiter blatantly ignored attempts to catch his attention and had more drinks and a desert but we decided to call it early and go grab an ice cream elsewhere and a drink back at our hotel. I would not be returning any time...

We are currently on holiday here and so far we have eaten here every night. The staff are absolutely amazing they and the food is as well. Have had a different meal every night and they have all been of brilliant quality and taste. For 3 adults and two children eating 2/3 course meals and drinks it's costing between €90-€130 which is far better than the UK for the quality of food you get and you don't have to book a table!!! If there's seats and there open just stand at the front and wait...
