Lovely location and have ate here years before but this year was exceptionally disappointing. I ordered the fajitas, which weren't cheap. All I got was bland fried chicken and 3 small wraps, no sauce or salad. I asked an Asian lady waitress for mayonnaise and salad but she seemed annoyed with this request. We saw the table beside us finish and pay and she served them little honey rum shots. When we went to pay, she delivered the bill to our table with two empty sweet wrappers and one fully intact mint sweat crawling in ants. You can guess we were a bit horrified. I said I pay by card and tried explaining to her the empty wrappers but she didn't either understand or care and just said "you give how much tip?" as she was working the card machine. I was put on the spot and I fully regret giving her a tip. She didn't offer us honey rum which I could get over but to add insult I see her then go to a couple beside us and gave them shots. I have never felt so unwelcomed and treated so badly anywhere before. Avoid! There is much nicer restaurants with equally as good views further...

RUN AWAY!! Utter disgust. We (family 2+2)came for late lunch with 1 and 3 year old kids and ordered very simple dishes for them (chicken / roasted veal and fries) and some tapas for ourselves. We had to remind waiters about our order twice. They made our children sit at the table for 45 minutes waiting for their dishes (kids were almost crying from hunger..) and our tapas never arrived. Children’s food was greasy (roasted veal was actually fried veal in breadcrumbs). When we made a comment after 1 hour of waiting for tapas that it was unacceptable to wait that long, a waiter did a gesture of knocking his head implying that my husband was crazy. He then went on explaining that we shouldn’t mind the wait as we were on holidays and we had time to wait… He started screaming at us and waving his hands once we said we were leaving. They quickly came with the bill to make sure we paid for children greasy dishes!! One lady started apologising and giving our kids candy. That was truly appalling experience, unprofessional service and awful food. DO...

Restaurant has a beautiful location with view. Staff fooled me. I was ordering 3 portions of the child's menu fish & chips and a cheese sandwich. When I paid, the amount was €63,-. I was in shock and asked for the receipt. The chinese woman behind the bar, doesn't seem to speak a single word English. One of the staff members asked me aggressively by which colleague I ordered. I appointed the guy and he doesn't seem to remember I order from child menu. The products on my receipt where in Spanish and where a dish with garlic, €16,70 per dish. Instead of the child's menu fish and chips of €7,something. They pretended to be stupid like they didn't know where I was talking about. I've asked for a reimbursement of my money and that was handled by the women behind the bar. She made a calculation which didn't seem to be right either and where I still paid €5,- too much. I left it like that. I got boxes to take away and quality of food was poor. Wouldn't recommend. My advice, check the bill. If you pay for the products...

Breakfast wouldn't pass the trades description act, I'm afraid. We chose this bar for its location overlooking a nice sandy beach. The service was OK and the environment was good. I looked at the menu and chose an English breakfast, enticed by a picture of a fulsome plate; 2 of everything. Plus mushrooms and tomatoes. See for yourself what was actually provided. The price had been crossed out on the menu and increased to 9.50E. My average breakfast with water and coffee came at a cost of 13.50E in total. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. The cost is not important. Even the smaller portion than the picture showed could be forgiven if what was provided had been good quality. But the cheapest sausage and a tasteless rasher of streaky bacon and a barely toasted piece of bread were poor.

We LOVE this place and the family. We have been visiting La Bahia for a number of years now and the food, service and just whole experience is always AMAZING. So much so I always recommend to friends who visit playa blanca. This time was no exception, I reserved 2 tables for a total of 23 people, there were 5 different families all requiring separate bills, no problem for the amazing staff here. Each family were given a number for individual tabs, no mistakes and all handled amazingly, considering there was not only us but a full reasturant too. Every meal was cooked to perfection and we had the best night even though there were a few sore heads the morning after. Thank you Maria, Li and team you were amazing 👏 ❤️ see you at Christmas xx

We went here for our Anniversary breakfast whilst staying ate the Tui Blue resort but couldn't stand the cattle market rush in the food hall, so we went here opened at 10am 1st in but settled us down at a shaded table outside. Coffee 1st and not rushed but had the club sandwich whice consisted of Bacon , Egg, Chicken, Lettuce and tomato with a kind of Coleslaw filling in 3 slices of toast with a fee chips to accomplment the food, well had trouble finishing it all but again no rush also had a nice Bucksfizz and waiter sang a song for us, 10/10 La Bahia thank you 😋 Bill was €35 which I was happy with
