Review from our visit in June 2025
A Flavor-Packed Return to Mongolian Street Food! After two years, I finally made it back to dine in and eat, However I have ordered via Uber from the mountlavania branch and both are consistent.
I just love the concept in srilanka of a mixed mongloian rice.
We started with the Mixed Mongolian Rice—a generous, flavorful dish with prawns, chicken, and perfectly portioned rice. Every bite was packed with that signature Mongolian-style depth. Then came the Flip-Side Chicken—a protein-rich dish of 200g chicken served with rice and a splash of light soy sauce. Balanced, tasty, and satisfying.
The Hot Butter Chicken was the crunchy highlight of the night—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and bursting with flavor. It’s the kind of dish you want to keep going back to.
Two years later, the flavors are still going strong. Highly recommend—and yes, I could eat it all again!
Review from 2 years ago. Been following their posts for sometime and gave it a shot over the weekend. Overall the food was not bad but could use with a little more authenticity of flavours. I would defenitly be going to try it out once more as it could have been an off day, but overall for the price the food was decent.
Need to try their noodles as it's the nice thick and flat egg type noodles. Can't wait.
Recommend the seafood have completely...

We had the pleasure of trying two standout dishes: the All-in Mongolian Rice and the Seafood Noodle Fusion. The Mongolian rice was a true highlight—packed with a generous mix of meats and infused with a bold, smoky flavor that’s distinctly Mongolian. It’s a dry-style dish, beautifully textured and satisfying with every bite.
The Seafood Noodle Fusion was equally impressive. The noodles were thick, almost ribbon-like, and soaked in a rich, savory sauce that made the dish incredibly juicy and flavorful. The seafood was fresh and well-balanced, adding depth to the overall taste. (Photos attached below show just how appetizing it looked!)
A special shoutout to Dilshan, the manager, whose service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring a great dining experience. The chefs also deserve high praise for crafting such memorable dishes with care and creativity.

Read moreLooking at the other reviews, I decided to take a chance on this place. I ordered the Mongolian seafood noodles.
Cons: The dish lacked flavor or any resemblance of taste. It had about 3 or 4 prawns with tiny chunks of cuttlefish, and an huge portion of noodles (enough for 2-3) and lastly, very lacking in vegetables.
Pros: The only good side was that the prawns were deveined, and the cuttlefish cut with diagonal incisions that curls up to look like a flower.
Recc: Please consider reducing the portion of noodles and focus more on the depth of flavor. When cooking fried rice or noodles on a wok its best done in small batches, allowing the sauces and flavor to be more rich. Invest more on vegetables and meat than carbs.
This is my experience of one dish. I really hope you can turn your restaurant around. I tried to provide a constructive feedback, and hope that you take it to heart and make some stride to...
