Land Of Rizka Weligama — Restaurant in Weligama

The worst place I've been to since I came to Sri Lanka. I don't know why there are good reviews, maybe they delete the bad ones. We ordered 2 dishes and 2 drinks from the waiter. The beer was brought cold, in a can 10/10. My Partner's burger was okay, he said the burger was edible, but at the end he didn’t finish it, and he's not picky about food. My chocolate milkshake was good, sweet, everything was okay, and the presentation was good. Minuses:

1. We didn't order yogurt, and the waiter brought it and kept saying that we ordered it and argued with us for 10 minutes, the owner intervened and said it was a mistake.
2. Then they brought me a Poke Bowl with chicken, as soon as they put it on the table it stank of rotten meat, this smell was from spoiled chicken, which was then taken and fried with sauce, my partner smelled this smell too. We asked him to remove it from the owner right away, he agreed. Also we wait our food 43 minutes, we were timing it.

In general, we didn't finish anything. And a few minutes later the owner came, apologized for his stuff and said that all this would not have to be paid as compensation. But in the end, both my partner and I have a very bad impression of the first time in Sri Lanka in general. It spoiled the good mood and appetite, without finishing anything we went home. And the evening should be sweet and romantic, which in the end didn't work out. So -1000/10, I don't...

Was disappointed with this restaurant. Food took well over 30 minutes to arrive even though there was only one other customer... Price is good, but flavour was average. We had the Ocean Kottu which was not bad, nice and creamy, but crab was a little hard to eat. The Grilled Chicken Rizka Bowl's dressing was underwhelming and I couldn't figure out what flavour it was trying to give and it wasn't strong enough. The avocado was also not ripe and still hard. The mint lemonade mocktail was just straight lime and too sour, not really a mixed drink, and definitely not lemonade. The food...

We just had a lovely dinner at this restaurant. It’s a very small venue, nothing fancy. We previously went to different “fancy places” in Weligama but wanted to try some authentic Sri Lankan food and so we decided to stop by and have some parathas with dhal, chicken curry and prawn curry. The food was really nice and all of us really enjoyed it. It took bit of a time to get the food but it was definitely worth the wait! The staff was really nice and friendly as well.
