I have been to this beauteous restaurant many times now and I am never sad about it because It's my favorite Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant I have been to so far. Additionally it must be my favorite restaurant overall. Not only I am the one that is relishing this restaurant a lot but many other denizens of Eskilstuna is also feeling like I do because "Basmati bengaliskt och Indiskt Restaurang" has a staff of about 6 people that is making this restaurant the restaurant with the most stars or highest rating in Eskilstuna.
It is a ethnical restaurant based on a myriad of Indian and Bangladeshi food, it is both an evening restaurant and a dinner restaurant. The food rating I give them is 5/5, it is very ambrosial. They are making the milieu very good so the service is 5/5 according to me because they are expeditious at serving people and polite, they are also very congenial when it comes to regalement. I would give the cooking quality 5/5 because they are cooking Indian food from scratch. They are mixing the food somehow with an abundance of spices that isn't too hot but still tasting a lot, they are basically making the food preponderant or satisfactory no matter what type of countries' cuisine you are used to, especially in making the food palatable for all Swedish eaters, all occidental food eaters, all oriental food eaters and all African eaters.
I do also like the chefs because they are very expeditious too. I like the paintings, they have an abundance of paintings on the walls, especially at the entrance room that is facile to visually perceive. However, they do not have TVs anymore on the walls. The only entertain item they have is LED lights, Indian paintings and candles that can make your experience of the restaurant environment much more better.
The restaurant size is quite lamentable because it can get marginally crowded there sometimes, so I give the size of the restaurant a 3/5.
My experience on this restaurant is good because they do have different types of Indian music on that is relaxing. The bar menu is also making the experience enjoyable, with drinks from all over the world, with a very good quality additionally, especially on their multi ethical (white) wine varieties.
Their desserts are too tasty for me to be able to write about it, they have kulfi, vanilla frozen ice cream, coconut frozen ice cream, mango sorbet and my personal favorite, the Indian dessert drink, mango lassi.
Additionally I really like the salad mix you can get gratis (you can take salad a myriad of times) with yoghurt mint sauce as your...
Read moreWhat a little gem! Nicely decorated, cosy restaurant with relaxed & friendly atmosphere. A good variety of delicious Bengali & Indian dishes on the menu. Freshly prepared & tasty food, everything we ordered was fantastic! Fresh crunchy popadoms, fluffy light naan, vegetarisk curries packed with flavour & veggies, excellent paneer & the most delicious kulfi. Great value for money & efficient service. Easily the best Indian food I've had in Sweden (I'm a Brit who's been living here 3.5years & visiting for over 10 years) & I love my Indian food so like to think of myself as someone who knows a little 😉 Thoroughly enjoyed Basmati, only wish it was in our home town as we'd most definitely be regulars! Highly...
Read moreNice Indian/ Bangladeshi restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, sitting in the heart of Eskilstuna. The food was quite acceptable in Swedish-Indian standard, the staff was really nice, courteous, prompt and non-interfering. The interiors are aesthetically pleasing and you are welcome with some Bengali music playing in the background, not at a loud volume, interfering the conversations. The mango lassi was delicious. The prices of the dishes are also reasonable for an ala-carte menu, if one were to compare it with its contemporary Indian restaurants in nearby towns, such as Vasteras. Certainly recommended if you are running out of options on what to eat in...
