I went for dinner with my boyfriend last saturday night to Brasa restaurant, and we did not have the best experience of our lives let s say... To start with what we consider the minor things: the place is not cosy at all (we were placed in a room with only big-noisy-group tables) and the quantity and quality of food are really poor if compared to the price (i.e. there are hundreds other places in gtb with cheaper and qualitatively better food and/or quantitatively more). But the worst was the staff. The waiter came to us a few seconds after we sat asking us if had already decided the food. Of course we had not, so he took the menu and told us 'you guys can skip the menu s because they are way too expensive for you, I would recommend you this this this...'. Whatever we are, how old we are, how we were dressing up, where we come from, whatever, this is not acceptable. I really hope it will not happen again to anyone else cause it actually ruined our dinner pushing down our festive mood...
Read moreI had the opportunity to visit the restaurant several times when the real rodizio was in place, together with the salad bar, both part of the original concept of churrasqueria from Brazil. Lots of options including beans, rice, among others.
My last visit was quite disappointing. The rodizio was replaced for just a couple of rounds of beef, focused in chicken and chorizo. We paid for 399 SEK per person and had only 2 very small slices of picanha during our 90 min visit. No salad bar with different options but some bowls with small portions and limited options availability. Instead beans we had lentils with rice in a kind of arroz carreteiro.
Service was very good and kind.
Certainly, I will miss the old and original concept. I found my last visit quite expensive for the experience we had. We were 2 adults and 2 kids paying almost 1500 SEK. Fortunately we had some MAX burgers after...
Read moreBrasa is a meat lover's paradise. The quality of food is excellent and the hospitality is equally good. It was our first time at the restaurant and they were really helpful and explained the menu with detail. The brisket was easily my favorite from the Churrasco and was even happy to get a second serving on the house. The chicken heart was very delicious too. The wine selection is good as well and they have setup a nice ambiance with bottles as well. I would definitely go back here and would recommend it hands down if you love meat and want to be treated to some real Brazilian...
