This is an all you can eat type of buffet that was once situated closer to Brunnsparken/Lilla bommen and that's when I last tried their food.
Food: They serve food like sushi, fried chicken/shrimps and asian stews with chicken, beef or pork options. There is also the option to pick from a variety of raw uncooked vegetables and meats (salmon, beef, shrimps, pork, chicken etc) which you can give a chef which will wok/cook it for you. The food is very salty and not the highest quality. The wok was tasteless. The sauces (curry, satay etc) didn't look fresh as they had started to separate. There were only 4-5 different types of sushi's left and they looked very sloppy and tasted OK at best. There was ice cream for dessert - five buckets of vanilla ice cream without anything such as chocolate sauce or sprinkles.
Service: The guy at the desk was kind and helpful. The bad service rating was due to the lack of attention to the freshness and status of the available foods. Food trays were empty, many of the things didn't look fresh, they had ran out of sushi and there was even one food tray with stew where we found cutlery in it. Foods weren't taken out and replaced during our 1 hour visit there. Not fresh at all.
Maybe the time was bad (Friday ~16.30, after rush hour??) but honestly this is not a restaurant I will come back to, ever. The only positive thing with this place is that you can eat yourself full if that gives you joy. Not worth the price of almost 200 kr and with what I witnessed today it's not even worth eating here at...

Gothenburg Wok offers a solid lunch option, particularly for those seeking a large variety and a comfortable setting. While the food won't blow you away with culinary artistry, it delivers a satisfying spread at a reasonable price.
The main draw is the extensive buffet. Vegetables galore – fresh, crisp, and plentiful – are a wok enthusiast's dream. From broccoli florets and snow peas to peppers and bean sprouts, you'll find a wide array to create your ideal stir-fry base. Meat options are also abundant, with chicken, beef, pork, and sometimes seafood available. While some reviews mention the quality can be inconsistent, the variety ensures you'll find something you enjoy.
What Gothenburg Wok lacks in gourmet flair, it makes up for in practicality. The spacious dining area allows for comfortable seating, even during peak hours. And in a city where parking can be a challenge, the free parking is a welcome perk.
For those looking for a quick and easy meal, there's also a pre-made wok section with various pre-determined flavor combinations. This can be a good option for those who are short on time or new to wok cuisine.
Overall, Gothenburg Wok is a good choice for a casual, budget-friendly meal. With its extensive buffet, spacious seating, and free parking, it's a solid option for a satisfying lunch or dinner, particularly for those who prioritize variety and value for money. While the taste might not be mind-blowing, it gets the job done, and that can be just what you...
Read moreFor the sake of all of you that consider eating here: DON’T.
The rudest staff in town. They’re literally screaming at their customers and each other, non stop. It is evident they have agression issues. I was forced to pay 15kr because I washed my hands in5 seconds in the toilet after eating buffé with family of 7 people (Imagine How much money they make of just that, but still yells on one person washing its hands 5 sec). This is a Joke! After coming home, everyone felt sick due to the old and non properly cooked or staked food. No one in the family had or have ever had stomach issues after eating on restaurant. The lady in the cashier is extremely rude, can’t believe they still have customers.
I recommend “Global restaurant” instead, just 100 metes far from this ugly restaurant.
If you want to get sick and vomit while getting bad service, this is the...
