So been passing this place to work for about 2 years now so been pretty excited to see this poace being renovated and open.
Got there and a friendly server greeted us and showed us to a table behind the bar, on a step from the open kitchen.
A waitress had our table and quickly came to serve us water and then our order. To my surprise; I kindly asked her if it was possible to add red onion to the Margaritha pizza? "We don't make any changes to the pizzas!" she replied. Wow, thats a surprise to a restaurant calling themselves a pizza place! Not very serviceminded I think. I didn't order anything that clearly wasn't available from the menu ☹️ disapointing. Anyhow, we got our food and drinks - a 33 ml Coca Cola for 32 SEK - Woah!
The place filled up and we realised the acoustics was really good in the venue - we had teouble hearing eachother at some points and my companion has a hearing impairment so it was though.
We got impressed by the interior and exterior - one can hope that the owners has preserved the history more that tiring down to build new. Anyways, another couple got seated next to us (it got even harder to hear one another) and they also got our waitress. We over heard them placing their order and this time the waitress said "Sure, of course we can add that" So there's a diffrent from people to people what can be added or not? Or is it because of how one is dressed or how big money one will spend? Just wondering. When the waitress came to take our plates when finished, she leaned in on my partner to reach both!
And how can they call themselves a pizza place when they have 10 pizzas on the menu and 13 starters? Renaming it to Morenos Anti pasti would be more suiting.
So I dont know if I will recommend this place or visit again. Wasn't impressed by the service at all. The venue is really nice and also the view from the rooftop bar...
Maybe I'll see you again...
Read moreTerrible service. We were not greeted at the entrance, although the restaurant was empty. We waited a bit at the entrance and went to the table. The waiter came up to us and said that the service does not take place in the area where we chose the service and he asked us to return to the entrance. To my question what is the difference between the tables, he replied to me, "If you don't like something, you can leave and you don't talk politely," to which I replied that I just asked a question, after which he repeated again that "If you don't like something, it would be better if you leave." Also, after our order, the waiter kind of threw a plate with orders, it was very unpleasant. This raises the question of - why the waiter decides who can sit in the restaurant and who can't ? I didn't come to his house, but to a restaurant and I pay for the service, the atmosphere and the food. Pay attention to how employees communicate with customers, it's terrible, and put a hostess at the entrance so that guests don't run around the hall back and forth. I've been to this pizzeria several times, the pizza is very tasty, but the service leaves much...
Read moreWhen it opened, there was even a line until outside so I went there to see what the hype was about. It was a really spacious restaurant as it used to be a movie theater. As for food, I tried a signature pizza called Moreno Pizza, which means dark in Italian and is baked a little extra. I loved the spicy pork sausage spread called 'Nduja on top of the pizza. Also, tried Lemon & Pepper pasta, but this wasn’t really my cup of tea because it wasn’t salty enough for me although the pasta and flavor were good, and Burrata cheese was tasty.
It was a bit confusing where you can get seated. I wanted to check out the rooftop so I asked a waiter about it, the waiter said you could eat at the rooftop beer garden, but they only serve cold pizzas and sides. You can still go up there freely so I went there after eating dinner to check out the rooftop beer garden. I wouldn’t say the view was the best, but it was spacious and a nice place hang out with friends on a sunny day or a night.
A great thing about this place is that they open until very...
