Lovely looking church from the outside. Such a shame it’s not open to the public so we can see inside even on a Thursday at 1:30pm and even when it says it’s open on google maps. You can even hear the choir and organ practising from the outside but all the doors locked. Why practise to a closed audience when you can practise to a live one? Better yet why closed during open hours to practise when you can just practise outside of the time the church should be open. Either way how can the house of god be closed to the public. Shame shame shame. Least the devil is always open...

Oscar Frederiks Church is imo the most beautiful Church in Gothenburg. It's located in city's western suburbs, on a small hill between other two hills - the one where's the massive Masthugget Church further west and the other with Skansen Kronan fortress 10 min walk east. Best is to combine all 3 to visit at a time.
