Zenit Kafe — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

Here now for Sunday breakfast. A very quaint / characterful cafe for a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Has a vintage feel. The breakfast was a fairly good value at 79 SEK. For me, it only lacked an egg. Perhaps people could choose between the croissant and a hard-boiled egg? Would be perfect in my opinion as the surdegsfralla with cheese was very nice and quite substantial with tomato, purple onion and I think lettuce too if I recall. Much nicer than the standard one that comes with most set breakfasts. Staff seems nice though I didn’t interact with them much. Many loose teas from which to choose yourself. Quite busy with locals but seems the tables are kept clean...

Kafé Zenit, what a place! Food is good, service is ok. But the atmosphere is great. Now with a outdoor seating area in the park on the other side of Allmänna vägen. Used to live on this street 25 years ago. Zenit was our place to go on sundays after a heavy party at Fotohög-kåren. Oh, what a time! Zenit...

Small, but very cozy. Not an overabundance of things to choose from, but more than enough if you feel the need for a coffee with something sweet on the side or a quick bite. Not too expensive, and they've got vegetarian cuisine as well. I can easily see myself going...
