Bastard Burgers — Restaurant in Linköpings kommun

I know it was their opening weekend but service was terrible. Lots of staff hanging around doing nothing, only one counter open to take orders. It took 16 minutes from walking in to placing the order and the queue wasn't that long.

Then we sat and waited. And waited. Half an hour after ordering we asked what was happening and it turns out they'd forgotten about our order. They wanted us to wait longer in the hope that this time they might actually manage to make a couple of burgers for us but instead we demanded a refund and left.

I must sadly admit that this place is not worth the premium. The burgers were small, had a frankly odd, but at the same time "absent" taste. As I told a friend with whom I had lunch when I visited, "all you can taste is the rent".

As in, you can only taste the expensive rent in the burgers. Not any ingredients, or any semblance of competency in the craftmanship behind the burgers.

Terrible, slow service, which is strange since there's staff everywhere that seem to not be doing much of anything. They also did not even process our order properly once we finally got to order, so our food order never reached the kitchen. After a 40 min wait we asked where our food was, and then were told about the mess up. They offered us another long wait to get the food, but by this time 1 hour of our time had already been wasted and we chose to leave.
