The food here reminded me of home. The presentation is not necessarily like Michelin-star cuisine; it feels reminiscent of dining at a grandmother's house in a distant town. From outside, I thought it looked tiny for a restaurant, but upon entering, I realized that the size was just right – a cosy and thoughtfully designed interior that exudes charm.

Each bite was not just a taste but a delightful journey. The bread, hot and fresh from the oven, arrives wrapped in a cloth to preserve its warmth, becoming a perfect companion to the array of flavours offered. This touch reminded me of the caring gestures of home. The hummus, the muhammara, and various other dips added a layer of richness to the experience.

I have ordered the Fetta with meat.

The bread deserves its mention – a typical Arabic, lovingly homemade bread. It's more than a mere accompaniment; it's a bridge that connects every dish to a tradition of savouring flavours. As a nod to the Lebanese heritage, renowned Arabic mezza delights are proudly showcased, and the true magic unfurls when each dish meets the bread, creating an orchestra of tastes that pay homage to their roots.

Oh, and don't forget, if you're hungry for a coffee the Middle Eastern way, ask for it. As it arrives, the aroma emanating from it is like heaven approaching.

In the end, the experience transcends the ordinary. It's a journey into the heart of flavours and memories, where every detail, from the warm interior to the cloth-covered bread, is a testament to the care and love that goes into crafting an exceptional...

From the moment you step inside, you feel like you've left the streets of Malmö and entered a warm Damascene home. The décor blends simplicity with beautiful Middle Eastern colors, and the soft background music completes the feeling that you're sharing a family meal.

The food? Honestly, every bite tells a story. The appetizers are fresh and authentic - creamy, silky hummus; refreshing tabbouleh that tastes like it was made minutes ago; and perfectly crispy-yet-tender kibbeh. The grilled meats are cooked to perfection, with an aroma that makes you forget everything else around you.

The service is outstanding. The staff greet you with a smile and explain the dishes as if you're a dear guest, not just a passing customer. You can truly feel the renowned Syrian hospitality.

The location is perfect - close to the city center and easily accessible, whether you're walking or driving. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes Thank you Ammar From...

Excellent all around. Keep in mind, this isn't any typical restaurant. This is home made food.

Coming in, there are 7 tables. Inky one large table thst fits 8 or more people. The menu is in Swedish, but there is a QR code that shows it in English in some parts and images of the food.

The server is helpful with recommendations and portions. They bring it water in a clay carrier, along with bread with olives. The olive oil is really flavorful.

We ordered the lamb with rice, kibbeh, veggie dolma, and chicken with rice. We also got hummus, yogurt and cucumber, and taboleeh.

The lamb and tabooleh were my favorite. Everything came fresh, hot, on time, plenty of flavor, and they checked on us to see how the food was.

They also brought out layali Lebanon. Really tasty and soft sweets. The Turkish coffee...

I discovered this restaurant while searching for authentic Syrian food in Malmö, and it turned out to be the highlight of my entire trip! The food was incredibly delicious and truly authentic—just like something a Syrian mom would lovingly prepare at home. The atmosphere brought back memories of old Damascus, and the tea with mint after a scrumptious meal of meat and pastries made the whole experience feel like a dream. The quality of the food was outstanding, the experience genuinely authentic, and the staff were warm and welcoming. I’ll definitely visit again the next time I’m in Malmö!
