a cozy place for fika in malmö with comfortable seating and high quality pastries!

this is my favorite st. jakobs stenugnsbageri location in malmö as it has many comfy chairs and a cozy ambiance. i brought my friend here when she visited me in malmö and she loved it! service was friendly and baked goods were fresh in the morning. nothing has prices on them but pastries range from 30-40sek.

// rabarbarbullar (rhubarb tart) // this was my favorite! a cardamom tart with a sweet vanilla custard, crumble, and rhubarb (tastes like subtle berries).

// morotskaka (carrot cake) // i enjoyed this carrot cake too. it had a classic taste of carrots but also a hint of cardamom for a twist. the cream cheese frosting was nice as well, not too heavy or sweet and good ratio to the cake.

// kanelbullar (cinnamon bun) // a classic kanelbullar, good but i like the kardemummabullar even better

i will come back again for these pastries and to try...

A lovely place in the middle of one of Malmö's most vibrant streets. The decoration is very welcoming and the staff is friendly. I quite recommend their sandwich options, made with first quality, healthy bread, meat and vegetables. Not to mention the vast variety of breads and sweet options. By the way, I got curious about the cardamom bun after reading people's remarks. Definitely...

Terrible, terrible hot chocolate. St. Jakobs are excellent for baked goods. I went in for a hot chocolate - for some reason I thought it would be on par with the their pastry. They charged me 48 kroner for absolutely the worst hot chocolate I’ve ever had. Milky, Nesquick-like, lukewarm, chocolate flavored drink. If you're doing something do it right or don't do it...
