I’ve been coming here regularly for years, simply because it’s one of the best places for lunch in town! With friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere, a nicely presented salad buffé, and a bread to die for, Smak is a gem! And then I haven’t even told you about the food.
There is always one meat, fish, and vegetarian option, in addition to a vegetarian soup. The foods is a careful balance of textures, sweet, salty and sour. I personally often go for the fish, and have only once in four years not been satisfied, then due to me not liking the sort of fish in particular. The portions are generous to say the least, and never have me, nor any of my friends left the restaurant disappointed. Even though the the prices are at the higher end, you get your money's worth!

You will not find better at the Boulangerie close by. The meal includes salad from the saladbar. This is a joy. It is fresh, imaginative and nicely presented. The choice of entrés offers something for vegetarians as well as carnivores. Even here, creativity and perfect execution are the hallmark. My fish was flakey done to perfection and the vegetables where delicious and done with care and flare.
The only minus was the cooks somewhat heavy...

We chose this restaurant because of the good reviews and because dogs are allowed (which was a huge plus for us), and we are absolutely thrilled. This restaurant has it all: a good atmosphere, really friendly and helpful staff and the food (in our case the vegetarian option) tasted amazing! We definitely recommend coming here when on a trip to Malmø. You can choose between three lunch options, meat, fish and vegetarian. A buffet with salad and bread is inclusive, as well as drinks and coffee....
