It's hard to be objective in reviewing my favourite place in town. The Vegan Bar is a non-fancy bar which is famous both for its amazing vegan burgers (I mainly eat meat, but I tried them, and I have to admit they are really something!) and for the cheapest beer in malmö (a pint of the lager beer Pripps Blå costs 39 kr). However, the main reason I would never change the Vegan Bar with anything else, it's its human dimension: the people working there are amazingly nice, and it feels to come back to your family, when you enter the bar. Read moreOrdered a beer (in english) bartender replied in english "a beer please" in a sarcastic manner. It wasn't until I sat down I realised he had poured a cider. We asked him to change it a minute later and he refused and said I ordered a cider. Very strange, even if it was a miscommunication why not just change it?
Following the owner reply, I can confirm that when returning to the bar a minute after ordering and explaining the situation the cider was full and untouched, so please feel free to post the CCTV as suggested.

Read moreI had a Mustard and Mayo burger with a Taste of Tennessee soy mince patty, gluten free bread and sliced potato dippers. I did not even attempt to eat the burger with my hands as it was very tall. The burger was so good! The mustard marinated onions, the vegan cheddar jacks and the soy patty combined wonderfully and the gluten free bread was just the right amount of soft - it did not feel too dry as I've sometimes found at other places.
