LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. My fam and I were in Stockholm craving some good Korean food (we’re Korean :) and found this place on Google. We figured a Korean restaurant in Stockholm wouldn’t quite taste right but it’d at least do the trick to curb our craving. BUT we were very wrong in the best possible way. Not only was the hostess / owner so incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived (she was very attentive and made sure to keep us posted as we were waiting for a table to open up as the place is quite compact - especially for a group size of 4) but once we were finally seated, we ordered one of each lunch combo option and…..the 반찬 (side dishes) and entrees themselves were not only delicious but very authentic tasting. We were so pleasantly surprised and kept raving about the food literally as we stuffed our faces. :) My dad with his big appetite particularly loved the self-service, unlimited rice offering. Our only disappointment with the place was the sheer fact that we wouldn’t be able to return due to everything shutting its doors for the Midsummer holiday. But we were so happy to have squeezed in that meal before we missed them for the holiday and we were left talking about Her Name Is Kim for days after. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place on...
Read moreMe and my family had the most wonderful dinner at Her name is Kim, and the seven of us seriously enjoyed each and every bite, which don’t happen all too often, as we can be a bit picky! I enjoyed the food so much that I did my happy dance that only really good food can bring out of me, but only ever so subtly, as I was eating out. Needless to say, you can taste that every dish were made with love and true sincerity. I wish I had photos to share, but when the food arrived I forgot all but the spoon and chopsticks, so I’m sharing the menu instead. The only dish we didn’t order, and thus I didn’t try, was the Army stew. And one last thing, Her name is Kim made an exception for us and opened 1 h earlier than they’d supposed to, because of my plea and our celebration of my fantastic sis-in-law! Thank you 🙏🏼 thank you so much for such a blessing!
What a luxurious and superb service! I will definitely come back with other people! The more the merrier, and happiness is supposed to be shared with others.
Ps. The only downside is that Her name is Kim is a small restaurant with few seats. It’s better during warmer seasons when they have outdoor seatings, but I hope the business will go well and they’ll open at a...

Small critique. For context i'm very familiar with food in East Asia though not an expert on Korean food specifically. It feels like a mismatch with all this amazing home cooked and well balanced food, to then serve some of the dishes with mass market gochujang-type sauce, which is really salty and overpowers the main dish (e.g. pork belly/ and I think the fried chicken too) and the meal in general. It makes me wonder if the sauce could be "diluted"(mellowed) with some other ingredient(s) in the kitchen, so it matches the rest of the food. I'm trying to think of an analogy, and serving a heavy beef stock-red wine salty gravy with a delicate piece of fish and you get the idea. Even if you take a small bit, it still dominates/sabotages the hard work. Perhaps the salt level is ok for typical Swedish preference. I understand to be competitively priced things may need to be bought in, and fair play for them for being transparent by displaying...
