N3rds Bar — Restaurant in Stockholm

Nice geeky decor. We weren't told that they charge you for the next half an hour if you go over the first.

We chose to end at 30 mins but were charged for an hour for using 36. There's no system in place to let you know when you've reached 30 mins, so it's a little scummy. When we gave the controllers back we weren't told we would be charged for an hour. (90kr for both of us, 180kr total)

It's a cool concept but I don't understand what I'm paying so much for: The woman behind the bar had no customer service skills (she didn't seem to care even before the issue with the charge) You play the games on your chosen console without sound. That's logical given you're in a room full of others also playing games, but it detracts from the fun of playing a video game. Paying 45kr per person per half an hour is expensive given that you don't get to enjoy th full experience of the game and I could play games at home for free with sound and without craning my neck to look at a screen.

Do I recommend this place? If we had had a different server and were informed of the time policy before we were paying/leaving - yes. The atmosphere is cool, the music they play is game related. The guy I perceived to be the owner seemed to care a bit more than his barmaid so maybe he'll take this feedback constructively. they have board games/card games - dunno if they charge for these.

We had a table booked for 10 people. Both to game, eat and drink. We got our food split, first 4 burgers came in 1h later and the other 5 burgers an additional 30 Minutes after ordering. Fine it was a full evening of people but we also booked the table ahead so they could match with extra staffing. But fine, food was late for 9 of us. The last person got the wrong food when we reminded them that food was missing 1,5h in. They asked what food he was missing he said "steak". 20minutes pass and they bring him an oumph burrito. He is gluten intolerant which is why he ordered steak. The waiter looked so confused. When my friend finally got his steak he had waited 2h and 20minutes. And they wanted him to pay full price.

Red headed bartender was real rude, we asked for him to come out to take drink orders so we didn't have to come one at a time to the bar and order and he sighed, rolled eyes and a lot of undeserving attitude.

Gaming part was nice, food was mediocre but we didn't have time to send food back to risk us waiting an hour thirty again for food.

Absolutely best bar ever! Breath-taking original themed cocktails and delicious food you just have to try! The burger specials are fantastic with something for everyone: from safe veggie wraps to the world's hottest burger they have it all. The cocktails are not only video game themed, but they also have the creative presentation for potions, as well as the best beer selection in town.
