I visited Bergamott on a Friday evening. It was a lot of guest in the restaurant area and a great atmosphere. Such a nice beginning of the evening and I'm sad it didn't go so well. We spent almost 1.5 hours between the apertizers and the main course and then we had to wait forever in order to pay the bill. Instead of just letting us sit there empty handed and wait, I would have appreciated if they explained why it might take some time to get the food ready, perhaps ask if we wanted something to drink. Gotta say, instant love from the second we walked in. This is not a fancy place per se so never mind the white table cloths. The service is direct and on point but at the same time it feels like they had you as a guest before and liked you company. Food is above expectation because, and I am ashamed to say, that I never heard of the place before. It's been here for 12 years, in my own city!

We where the last to leave the resturant but they took care of us to tve very end, like you do with friends. I'll defenetly be back and enjoy this place all over...

So get this, the only beef they sell is going to be the tartare (if you are lucky) besides that, Bergamott’s delicacy is horse meat 🥩 it was my first time eating a horse filet in my life but I fell in love with the taste. It literally smelted on my tongue, it was quite the experience. George the owner of the place is a real French man from Nice. Such a cozy place, I loved my dinner. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a cozy, warm-hearted authentic French cuisine place in the capital of the Swedish kingdom. Thanks George...
