Locavore — Restaurant in Västerås kommun

Located on the 18th floor of Steam hotel it almost offers the best view of Vasteras. The restaurant however expects to pre-book to gurantee a place. Otherwise, you might be disappointed an entrance, especially in the Covid times. The ambience is the best, the window seat may be guaranteed. But if you sit in the middle its as good as dining elsewhere, with no access to what the beautiful restaurant surrounds. So perhaps Locavore needs to rearrange its sitting arrangements. Food is decent, staff are well behaved and are aware of what they are serving and try an honest attempt to explain the genesis of the food or drink, you are being served. There is ample electric charger parking if you are arriving the hotel with an electric car...

A great place for dinner with a view. View was absolutely stunning. We chose the fixed menu and it was so delicious. They started with papadams with a cream dip which was so interesting followed by starters of tuna, tacos and chicken dumplings. Loved the dumplings. Main course was also yumm. And then deserts were delicious. My only complaint was that they took extra money for coffee with desserts, I think that shud be included in the desserts. We also had to pay extra for coffee during breakfast coz we ordered cappuccino. There was only brewed coffee otherwise. Usually machine coffees are always included in the breakfast. Overall an experience. And in the nights, it was a good vibe with DJ...

I needed to have some dinner and got recommended to try Locavore and YES I’m glad I tried it. The full experience was great Great Food all I tried was so good favorite was the spicy fried chicken. ( you will get a shot of milk if it’s to spicy, not for me ) Drinks. A lot of great cocktails just pick on and you will love it. Also have some great Sake to try Location. Has a wonderful laid back sofa that also worked to it in To bind all together The Personal!!!
