This place is dope af. The style is sick, stickers everywhere. Sweet assed hip hop busting out the speakers, and the manager even cranked it up because I asked.

I asked for my fries a special way while getting kind of confused about my options. The cool assed dudes here made it for me how I wanted. Eventually I sit down with my Pepsi, which is the cola they have here (Everyone who's cool knows Pepsi is the one) and then my burger and sick ass spicy fries show up. I eat the fries and I'm so happy with them. Then I nod my head to the jams.

Suddenly I remember my burger so I pick it up, the bun soft as hell and the meat looking lush. I take a bite. Ok so no kidding, wanna know how good it was? I yelled to the kitchen, "Yo, guys!" They peep their faces out of the kitchen port, so I tell them straight up, "I don't understand... This is the best burger I've ever had. It doesn't even make sense!".

I say it because it's true.

Now I'm here still jamming with the flavours busting around inside my mouth, I take a sip of my Pepsi, and I write this to you.

This place is empty on a Saturday night. Where the hell are you guys? See you next time I...

Bastard Burgers muss die mit Abstand am stärksten wachsende Burgerkette in Schweden sein. An Werbung im Radio oder an Bushaltestellen kommt man nur schwer vorbei. Selbst in kleinen Städten gibt es mehrere Filialen. Wir haben uns für einen ersten Besuch die Filiale im Herzen von Växjö zum Abendessen ausgesucht.

Das Restaurant ist hip eingerichtet, die Bedienung und Köchin in Personalunion war sehr nett und hat die Bestellung schnell aufgenommen und abgearbeitet.

Geschmacklich war der Burger saftig aber doch kross gebraten. Die Pommes waren auch gut. Die Preis/Leistung von ca. 17€ pro Person hat gepasst. Ein wenig schade war es, dass es das Getränk nur direkt aus der Dose gab. Ein Glas oder auch Besteck wurde nicht angeboten. Es also doch eher Fast Food als ein Restaurant für einen netten Abend mit Freunden mit Aufenthalt über mehrere Stunden.

Auch wenn unser Tisch nicht perfekt gereinigt war, habe ich den Besuch als deutlich angenehmer und ruhiger empfunden als bei Max Burgers, auch wenn man hier mit einem kleinen Fokus auf klassisches Restauranterlebnis ein wenig mehr Geld für seinen Burger bezahlt.

I ordered a double cheeseburger meal with an Oreo milkshake as takeaway. It was absolutely delicious. The fries were great and the burger was very tasty. The ingredients are fresh and great quality. About the milkshake, I think it's the best I've ever hard! Absolutely delicious! The lady at the till did everything and she was lovely. I would definitely recommend and come back...
