The view is amazing and the food was good too! BUT better service could have made our experience much better. We asked for the check in every possible way and both the waitress and waiter ignored us. We were kind and patient and waited there for 35 min without result. Obviously we had to go, so in the end we decided to stand up and walk to the register and paid there. While we waited for the check, we noticed that other tables with local people asked for their check and it was brought to them immediately. A great place to enjoy some coffee and pastries with a nice view of the lake away from the city. The choices of drinks are great but for the pastries not much unless you biy from the bakery next to it but you need to pay there and then bring them to the cafe. Great breakfast and service! I recommend to everyone who want to have a nice starting of day in Chexbres. The breads are very good and the view is only a detail...We've been there for 4 days and we went there every day, just loved it! Arrive early because it's always very crowded or you will need to wait a bit, but no problem. Thanks to the great ladies...
