We had a lovely stop at this charming local restaurant while exploring the vineyards around Chexbres. The setting is peaceful with a cozy village atmosphere—ideal for a quiet meal after sightseeing or wine tasting in the Lavaux terraces.

I came to this restaurant seeing the good reviews, however i was disappointed. Food was extremely mid, if you serve this capricciosa in Italy, they would be shocked seeing the poor quality of products, especially the olives and eggs. Also they don't use guanciale in the carbonara, it's a random bacon... Wine was mid, service was mid. The filet the perche were from the lake or not ? The waiter seemed like he had no idea or trying to dodge the question, it felt like the fish wasn't local.. Maybe I have too high expectations having lived in Italy but I would NOT recommend this...

We really liked the food!

Unfortunatelly, it being Switzerland the prices were pricy enough.

Nevertheless the staff was uber-friendly and welcoming, they speak a lot of languages so nothing should get lost in translation! We didn't make a reservation and it being a weekend we had to wait (around 5 mins.).

The food was great, they offer gluten-free pizzas (cost an extra 5.- CHF) as well as gluten-free pasta (not sure if they make you pay more for that?).
