I know the Swiss are aloof, but usually on this side of rude. The waitress here was another level altogether. I can't have bread or potatoes on my diet and told the waitress so; then I mistakenly ordered raclette, mistaking it for fondue.
When it landed, I sadly order the mushroom fondue option on their menu, knowing full well I'd have to pay for both. She tries to talk me into using bread, as it tastes best - I know that to be true, but tell her I can't have bread. Food lands, and she shoves a bowl of potatoes in front of me.
I tell her, again, that I can't eat potatoes either, and ask for mushrooms. She tells me they don't have any. I say it's on their menu, to which she replies that I would have needed to order that with the fondue, as they don't sell it separately.

We have been here 3 times in 2 weeks because it is worth the trip … the staff has even been tolerating myself learn German and practicing with them . The first time we went we were a group of four guests … we showed up the next day and the staff knew all our drinks by heart !

I was skeptical about all three of us ordering fondue, but we all chose a different kind of fondue and did a lot of sharing.
