I ordered pad see you from an older Thai lady, the younger lady was cooking. After she finished cooking, she asked me what am I waiting? I told her I’m waiting for my pad see you. She asked me, “pad Thai”? I said no pad Thai, I ordered pad see you. She went back to the kitchen I heard the frying in the wok noises, she’s done cooking & handed my food to me. when I got home & opened the container., it was pad Thai. She didn’t cook pad see you for me, she just pour the pad Thai back onto the wok making it sound like she’s cooking pad see you for me. Did she think I’m stupid & couldn’t tell the difference between pad Thai & pad see you? Pad Thai is lighter color, thinner noodles & sweeter, pad see you is thicker noodles & darker color. What a surprise to find my favourite glass noodles at this small thai takeaway shop in Chur. We order Spicy Fried Rice with Tofu and Stir-fry Glass Noodles with Chicken. Both really delicious and the chilli in the fried rice is really spicy 😋 this is a takeaway shop but there are few tables on its second floor if you want to dine in like we did. By the time we finished eating and came down, there are many people waiting for their takeaway. I supposed this place is rather popular. Glad we came in. Will be back again tomorrow, our last day...
