Kaffee Klatsch — Restaurant in Chur

Poor quality food and service. Overpriced and arrogant. I gave this coffee several chances but was consistently dissapointed. Being served by one open cashier with 10 people in queue by an employee who was clearly sick and handling food without gloves gave me the rest. Upon inquiry the soup I wanted to take away was 26 Chf unbelievable I wouldn’t pay that. The answer from the service personelle was we are consistently full= meaning we don’t care what you think enough people are willing to pay our prices. Bevor ich mein Kritik äussere, möchte ich zuerst die Managerin persönlich für Ihr Einsatz und Engagement bedanken. Auch für sie, fasse ich zusammen wie mein 4. Klatschbesuch, von mir aus das letzte gewesen sei.

Es war als wäre die Seele aus dem Klatsch entzogen sei. Vom gemütliche Gastro mit Historie und Davoser Ableger zeigt wie ein guter Ort mit Gastro-Menschen, in ein Ort für InfluencerInnen und/oder höchstfragwürdigen Verhalten der vorerwähnte Altersgruppe allg. XX/XY v.a. wenn mit Markenkleider und -uhren das Personal wie „Schrot“ behandelten.

Ich jedoch, bedeutend älter (1977), kam mich auch so vor. Damit meine ich, wie „Schrott“ behandelt zu werde. Als zahlende und vor allem menschlichen Kunde, wie ein Roboter behandelt zu werden. Nicht hallo, hej, hoi, Gruzi grüssech, oder „Guten Tag, … wie geht es Ihnen?“

TISCHNUMMER?!

Also, da wird man nicht bedient. Oder doch, oder nicht, oder wenn, nachdem…

30’ Sassen wir da und beobachtete wie auf jeglichen der individuellen (!) Wünsche einer Gruppe von 8-10 der Gen-Z anno 2025 aushacken können. Sich ein solches individualisiertes Wunschkonzert leisten? Alles Ok. Echt, have fun!

Guter Umsatz, Gratis Werbung von InfluencerInnen… Aber bitte, ohne mich.

Irgendwann, vorgestern, bin ich dann mal reingegangen um nachzufragen. Etwas bestellen… wir warteten schon 30‘ n‘est ce pas… ich meine, da stand ich, brav Schlange wie ein Mensch/Kunde/Robot bis dann die Klatsch-Mitarbeiterin sanft sagte:

TISCHNUMMER?!

Nöh. Einfach Nöh! Ich bin doch nicht blöd?

Nur B. verstand es Sie war, gleicher Meinung…

Also, ich fühle mich nicht länger wohl im Klatsch. Es war ein guter Ort, nun ist es nur noch ein Cooler-Selfie Ort.

Nichts für mich, mehr.

Ich wünsche altmodischer/vintage Gastro-Genuss. Nicht Robot-Befehle vom Gastro Personal. Wenn schon, denn schon, aber, für mich, absolut nicht so. Vielen wird es gefallen.

I was very impressed by your new venue, so attractively renovated and decorated, your use of space enhances the old architecture. I love the mix of old tables and chairs, the upstairs section, the cosy corners..and what an inviting selection of food as one comes into the cafe! I enjoyed the soup and focaccia and much appreciate the tray of fresh water to help oneself - bravo, one of very few places in Switzerland, at least in GR, I have encountered where water is available for free. Going by the crowds of people both times I was there, you're on to a winner! Good luck and well done...
