Bar Laura — Restaurant in Circolo di Lugano ovest

This place is amazing. We saw it when we realized we would have an hour to spend before our bus came, and since it was right by the station, we stopped by. As soon as we entered, we were greeted and once we spoke English, so did the person who works here. We were able to order easily, and while we ate and drank, I noticed a few amazing things about the place.

They keep this place spotless, while retaining the dim-lighting comforting and beautiful aesthetic that they have going. Amazing music that is great for background sounds. They had it at the perfect level and it really made the whole experience perfect for me. Friendly, approachable staff. They were so nice, especially the lady that greeted us. We didn’t get to interact with the others much.

10/10 for this place if it was rated out of 10. Definitely...

Da anni vengo al Bar Laura, un po' perché l'ambiente è simpatico, il posto è centrale e le focacce mi piacciono molto. Sarebbe menzoniero dire che il prezzo è basso, tenendo conto che io mangio solo ed esclusivamente focaccia con mozzarella, pomodoro e insalata, un panino "povero" potremmo dire, che è il mio panino preferito e ho sempre mangiato, ovunque. Detto ciò la prima lamentela, sulla quale ho soporsseduzo per una decina di anni.. la mia tipica focaccia, in molti anni l'ho pagata, a volte 10, a volte 11, e altre volte anche 12... Prima perplessità... Ma sta sera abbiamo toccato il fondo! Ho ordinato la mia solita focaccia, sapendo che mi sarebbe costata intorno ai 10 franchi che come già detto non è economico, ma visto che è buona, sta sera, con pochi soldi in tasca, ho deciso che visto l'ambiente e le focacce buone, sta sera mi sarei piazzato li, avrei mangiato, in un ambiente rilassato e sarei andato avanti con il mio progetto grafico, che ho piacere a fare in giro, fuori casa. Tutto bene, tutto bello...fino al conto . 14 franchi...... QUATTORDICI FRANCHI!!! Cioè io esco pensando già di spendere un po' più di quanti ebrei voluto, quindi sottolineo che è stato una sorta di sacrificio .. mi sono state farfugliate delle vaghe spiegazioni secondo cui era l'orario serale ecc ecc... A me non frega un cazzo. Quello che mi frega è che ho speso un patrimonio quando stavo esitando sé andare a mangiare la miglior pizza di Lugano a Breganzona al Golosone, il cui avrei speso 10 fr.... Una pizza però non un panino...... Io amo i panini... Ma non andrei da Cracco a mangiarli, perché SO BENE che a prescindere dalla qualità i prezzi sono un offesa alla fame nel mondo... Quindi io ho deciso di mangiare da voi.... Grosso errore. Sappiate che io sono un uomo di principi e sé ci dico che NON METTERÒ MAI PIÙ PIEDE NEL VOSTRO BORIOSO, SNOB E DECISAMENTE NON PER GENTE NORMALE BAR. Ditelo chiaramente che i poveracci non si possono permettere di mangiare una banalissima focaccia alla sera...... Ciao.

Ps. Siccome sono un uomo con una lingua e una faccia, mi espongo anche, non mi interessa assolutamemte, anzi, meglio! Io sono Nimai Berdat, quello di Samurai Noir. Vorrei dire molte molte parolacce ma mi sto contenendo... Mi sono davvero sentito offeso e preso per il culo! Ottimo, a mai più...

Very interesting bar when it comes to the internal environment, decorations and sound system, if we want to talk about the service and the cuisine, we'd better not comment ... if you just pass by for the shot while listening to one of the current commercial songs it suits us .. mainly if you have time to spend .. on the contrary, forget about it! place completely very very badly organized, distracted and unfriendly waiters ... unfortunately this is what I think! you go and get rid of...
