I found FlyTicino by looking up fun things to do in Lugano. I hadn’t thought of paragliding before but it just looked so fun, I had to try. The experience was so wonderful. They contacted me easily through WhatsApp with all the info I needed about traveling to the location, payment, what to wear etc. my flight got rescheduled due to weather conditions which I appreciated because I wanted the safest conditions. They definitely put safety above everything else. I was nervous about doing this by myself as I was traveling alone, but they were so friendly. Frederico was my guide and he was fantastic- super friendly and spoke many languages so it was super easy to communicate in English. Two days ago I had a wonderful paraglider flight over the Ticino’s mountains with FlyTicino! The pilot – Federico – is a really nice and competent guy. We had to wait a bit at the beginning because on the top of the mountain there weren’t at once the right weather conditions for the take off. But that actually didn’t scare me off, on the contrary I gained the impression that FlyTicino values very much the flight’s safety and this reassured me more and I felt very safe by the time of taking off and during the whole time! I had a blast paragliding at FlyTicino with my friend as we visited Switzerland. Stefano and Federico, our paraglider guides, were very friendly, warm, and had a calm presence that was perfect given our nerves and excitement on this trip. After our flight, they drove us back in their own car (a cool BMW) to the original location and kindly took us to a bank because we forgot to bring cash. They even had a special glider for individuals who weighed over 100kg (220lbs), and most paragliding excursions do not have this capacity.
