Oliveto — Restaurant in Crans-Montana

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant tonight. My wife and I arrived at 9:36 PM, well before their supposed closing time of 10 PM. Having dined here multiple times close to 10 PM previously, I expected a warm welcome. However, the treatment we received was shockingly rude and unprofessional from two of the waitresses.

Upon entering, we were met with a disdainful look from the waiter who promptly informed us that they were closed. I politely pointed out that it was only 9:36 PM, and that their advertised closing time was 10 PM. Unfortunately, the waiter dismissed us, displaying a complete lack of hospitality. It was clear that they were in a hurry to close up for the night, but their disregard for us as customers was truly disappointing.

The attitude of the staff left a sour taste in our mouths, and we left the restaurant feeling unwelcome and disrespected. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in any establishment, let alone one that relies on customer patronage to thrive.

I have frequented this restaurant in the past, enjoying meals close to their closing time, but after this experience, I will think twice before returning. It's a shame that what was once a reliable and enjoyable dining spot has now become associated with such a negative encounter. It was easily the best meal we had in our first leg of Switzerland and having Mauro as our server was simply icing on the cake!! He was truly the epitome of going the extra mile and it was my mother who insisted we had to drop this review quickly!
