Ristorante Pizzeria Padrino — Restaurant in Davos

So we know little of Davos. Recommendation from a native to find the best meal to be had in the area. The staff was attentive, pizza, very good to excellent. The atmosphere is relaxed, all adds up to a great experience. Then in walks an orangish fellow from the States. He asks rather loudly, “who do I have to shoot to get a Big Mac?!?” Since he addressed the room, I volunteered that a burger was probably a no-go. He did not take offense and immediately joined our table. I told him he looked familiar and he demurred. Upon pressing him to tone down he stood again and shouted “all of this wouldn’t be possible without the U.S.A.!” Then I gave him a slice of our pie. He responded by ordering drinks for 17 people in his and our party, on him. I’m thinking what a gracious guy. He dashed about 20 minutes later. That’s right, skated on the tab. Good pizza, but service is mediocre at best. Most waiters, except for their senior, simply ignore me. They seem to be temp workers who don't care about their customers. The senior waiter was giving a good service, but since he's alone for all interactions with customers, he's always busy. Not recommended for single persons and couples. And there are other pizzerias in Davos who make as good pizzas, but with better service for everyone. About prices, as long as there's no fresh seafood, it's a decent price, a bit on the upper range though. It's the cost for quality. But simple entry dishes like green lettuce salad and soup of the day are overpriced, like twice the price you would pay in the nearest...
