The location is great: only a short walk to the slopes and on the busy main street with plenty of shops, restaurants etc! If you like clubbing you got the nightclub downstairs as well. ||The room we were in was a lil outdated but that was ok. We had two bathrooms, one with a shower the other one with a bathtub. |We really liked the nightly sweets on our beds that awaited us when we came back to our rooms in the evening, nice gesture!||The goal must be to have returning guests though and unfortunately after our stay I’m not keen on staying at this hotel again. ||1. We travelled with our dog and kid. We payed 20chf/day for our dog; no dog bowl, no dog blanket nothing. Now that would be a point to make a difference (what does it cost to buy 10 dog bowls or dog blankets? The hotel can use those for years but would make the dogs feel welcome too!) ||2. Our kid got sick one night. I had to change the blankets at 3am took towels and made his bed with towels instead of sheets cause obvi that’s what you do if you have no sheets. The blanket had to go too. We thought it was obvious and they would make the bed the next day. To our surprise the staff didn’t put new sheets on nor bring a new blanket... we got home at 11pm so nobody was available anymore to bring a blanket or new sheets and our son had to sleep on towels again with towels as a blanket too. Totally doable but not expecting this at the prize we payed to stay there. ||3. Breakfast ended at 10:30am every day...at exactly 10:30 they started putting stuff away. This one time there was only 1 kind of bread left at 10am!!!!! I asked for different bread but got told that this is the only bread they have left... everything else was gone... hmm... not exactly what I expect from a 4* Hotel neither. ||4. We asked for a calm room (knowing the club is downstairs) so we were in the back of the hotel. Room was quiet but the baby bet wasn’t put up (we mentioned the kid in the booking!) so I called if they could bring it upstairs. |We were gone for 3-4h and the baby bed was in front of our room...folded and sheets next to it. Had to do it all ourselves, which once again is doable but not expected if you stay in a 4* hotel especially if I have to put all the sheets in myself as well. |||Like I said: location is great but you d need to go the extra mile to be better than...
Read moreWe have stayed at your hotel during many years. You had excellent half-board,delicious food at dinner and fine service. But not this stay. First you changed the place for dinner, it was a grill bar.I understood that waiter wasn't happy to serve us for half-board, we had to wait for 20 minutes till waiter come to give us menu, than it took30 minutes to take order. Afterwards we waited for 1,5 hours for main dish.Everyone except us was already served (despite that they come after us).I understood they were from street, not from hotel. Finally waiter forgot what I ordered and we had to wait more. It was noisy, very bad service and the food not the quality we used to at your hotel during these years. Than at reception asked us where we would eat another day and I told that we choose to eat at Damoro cause it’s a fine cuisine, receptionist assured me that we would eat there for the rest of stay (5 days more) but the next day at Damoro we were much disappointed cause nobody from reception ordered a table for us and it’s fully booked now,but Damoro offered us the dinner for next day. So I was very much surprised when next day receptionist called me and said that Damoro is closed for a special event and we can have a dinner at Grill restaurant. But Grill restaurant was also closed for a special event and we had dinner at another restaurant.I don’t understand how such a nice hotel with excellent service and fine cuisine turned out...
Read moreWe stayed at the Morosani Posthotel during the Spenglercup and over New Years Eve. ||The decoration of the hotel is very nice and all the staff are extremely friendly. The breakfast buffet was delicious. ||||We stayed with our 4 months old son who not only got his own set of towels but also always was thought- of during turn-down service. ||||The Hotel is greatly located in the middle of Davos Platz, only minutes away from the slopes and lots of restaurants. ||||Only thing that was a bit annoying was the noise from the drunk people outside until late at night. We assumed they were guests at the in-house Pöstli Club. But us being there during the Spenglercup and NYE we knew this was to be expected. The prices during that time were certainly hefty. ||||All together we had a great stay and would...
