Gina Ristorante — Restaurant in Ecublens

I really enjoy eating good food after a long day of studies. Today was no different. Somewhere by 9:00 pm I decided to go alone to Gina restaurant. Since it was a little late in the evening, I decided to order a pizza (4 cheese) at the lounge and eat it there (they have a lounge at the entrance, where as I understood you can order drinks, eat some snacks etc). I am very disappointed, since unfortunately when leaving the establishment, I was told in an ironic tone that "the restaurant was not meant for students and therefore I could not order at the lounge and eat it there". I would like to empathise that there's no significative gap in prices when ordering at the main saloon or at the lounge. This is not the first time I experience bad service there. Tough, I still must remark that the pizza tastes good but unfortunately, I will have to think twice before going to this...

People here are on a rush, they hardly leave you time to look at the menu. The lady ended up choosing our meal and the salad is simple and bad. The pizza is ok. We were pressured to ask for something to drink so my friend ask for some water and without asking they brought us expensive bottled water (other tables were having tap water, so that was a possibility)... Definitely one of the many "fake Italian" restourant. I went only once, but the experience was bad enough to decide not to go again. The food it's too expensive compared to the "not so high" quality of the dishes. The staff and the service in general, as other reviewers also noticed, it's not particularly nice to the customer, and definitely not adequate to the level of quality that they would have you think based on the appearance...
